Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe pool was horrible and disappointing; it had so much chloride that it hurt your eyes to enter the room. My kids could only stay for 30 minutes before they started to cough, and their eyes were bright red. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the indoor pool; it was very disappointing to the sons.
The room was spacious and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains created a perfect sleeping environment.

SpainWhen we asked for an extra blanket or duvet for the bed, room service did not react. There were no drawers, insufficient shelves and closet space forcing us to live out of our suitcases.
Breakfast in itself was fine but the delivery was consistently and excruciatingly slow, which stole valuable touring time.

United States of AmericaThe food! While the menu looked interesting, the food we ordered was not good.
The room was very spacious and had just the view we were looking for. We were allowed early check-in and really appreciated the late check out time of noon. Clean and comfortable. Room included a mini fridge which we took advantage of. Appreciated the friendly and prompt room service but wouldn’t eat there again. Dinner was not enjoyable and breakfast wasn’t good either. How can you mess up poached eggs? We will definitely return but we’ll arrange for food outside the hotel.

United States of AmericaDining staff was very nice which is half the battle but very forgetful and seemed to lack training. It was a little annoying when they would forget the same things 3 days in a row. like a spoon, toast, butter, meat on the side and when you reminded them they forgot again.
Breakfast was great.

United States of AmericaI did not like the white supervisor who, when she was asked by the front desk agent about being able to look up my Marriott Bonvoy membership using my email address... She lied and said no, it couldn't be used. And, then, this supervisor walked away. I knew she was lying because the African American supervisor had already stated that they could look it up. So, when the African American supervisor came back to the desk, she was able to shoe the front desk agent how to look up my account using my email address with NO problem. I booked a room with a view, and I thought that view would be more of the park. I got more of a full view of the marble looking bank and less greenery and brick buildings that are in the historic area. However, I was able to see some of the city landacape and what appeared to be a bridge in the distance, so that was lovely. The bed was not too comfy. It was hard. The desk chair in my room had seen better days. It needs to be retired to the furniture park in the sky.
I loved the 2 hospitable African American ladies who helped to check me in. One lady was a supervisor, and it appeared the other lady was new to the front desk and in training mode. It's not a problem, just something I noticed. They were both friendly and pleasant. They helped to make sure I was able to utilize my Marriort Bonvoy membership for free WiFi access and bottled waters. They looked up my account using my email address, which was helpful. The hotel lobby area was nice and colorful. I liked the historic touches and decorations throughout the hotel and in my room. My booking included American breakfast, which was really good, and the server was nice. The location is everything. I was only a few feet away from the historic sights I came to see. I used public transportation during my stay, and this hotel is close to it. There's complimentary ice cold, infused water by the elevators, which was quite refreshing because it was hot in Philly!

FranceThe pool was too cold and needs updating. Having to change rooms due to an air conditioning issue was a pain, but I was moved from 6th floor to 9th floor so I profited from a better view and they compted me a drink at the bar so that was nice compensation for the hassle of moving.
Excellent location close to the main attractions and great night life. Superb gym. Good food and drink at the bar. All staff super friendly and helpful. The aircon in my room was not working and they sent the engineer to help. After troubleshooting and not able to resolve the issue they moved me up to a new room.
