I explained that we had two rooms booked to the gentleman at the front desk when we first arrived. His response was "No sir you only have 1 room". I said "Oh, I must have booked it under my friend's name" I gave him my friend's last name and he replied, "No, we don't seem to have a reservation under that name either"... and that was it. He went back to doing whatever he was doing behind the desk as I frantically looked through my emails to find the reservation confirmations. Thankfully my friend's wife overheard and said "Did you spell it with two r's and two l's". He looked at her, quite annoyed, but it turned out he had been spelling it wrong. No apology was made. The lack of effort to try to help us find our reservation was very offputting to say the least. However, that was the only issue that we had. Everything about the rest of the stay was lovely.

The location was fantastic. Easily walkable to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly -- good recommendations for bars and restaurants. There was one woman in particular, a manager I think (who I believe said she handled group bookings for the Omni properties), who was absolutely wonderful. She just happened to overhear us talking about how we had arrived earlier than expected (8:00am) and we really wished our rooms were ready (they said they'd have them ready sometime before 4:00). She said, "Hold on just a moment for me" and came back a few minutes later with our room keys. We were shocked and amazed! I'm not even sure how she knew our names. It may have just been perfect timing on her part... walking up to the desk just as they were about to text us or something... but either way, it really made us feel special. I wish I could remember her name!

We booked the deluxe king room with balcony for 2 nights, which met our expectations. Our room was clean, the staffs were very nice. The location was great, and the Rib room food was delicious! I will definitely recommend Omni Royal to anyone.

The mattress was uncomfortable. I did not sleep through the night. The room was too narrow for 2 people. There was little space to unpack or have your suitcase open to pull from. There were actually only 3feet from the mattress to the wall. I had to open the ironing board to have a place to put my stuff and we had to move it every time my husband needed to get to the bathroom & the room door.

1 Location was perfect. You can walk to everything without wearing yourself out. Absolutely perfect. 2 Staff was very accommodating. 3 Hotel is beautiful. 4 Although there were electrical outlets easily available at bed sides, we had to move the coffee maker to be able to plug in.

One front desk staff was not overly helpful and I was disappointed in the information I was given about not getting my rewards points because I booked through a 3rd party. I have never had a hotel not honor my reward card before.

It was a beautiful hotel and a very central location with lots to see and do around. It felt very safe and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and loved the old historian feel. Bed was comfortable as well.

Bed pillows were very filthy. Yellow stains and gross looking. Expected more from this class of hotel.
