Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSome staff not very friendly or welcoming. Breakfast was just okay. Limited choice and staff were slow to re stock. This is a new offering for the hotel so could be just teething issues.
Boutique hotel, great, spacious rooms in an excellent location.

CanadaMy pillow had a foul odour that emitted when squashed, as if the air within it was rank. It seriously smelled like fecal material.
Didn't take advantage of the breakfast due to leaving after it was put out

United Arab EmiratesOur bathroom door had ENORMOUS openings on either side - so zero privacy... I'd avoid Room 610 for that reason. Really badly designed bathroom - it had great space, but zero storage space for guest's toiletries - we had to move the luggage rack into the bathroom. Not all bathrooms in the hotel are as badly designed. We had two rooms booked for our family, and the other one was great. Very little wardrobe/hanging space for a couple. Bed was too soft. While the location is brilliant for easy walking, the noise from the trains and the steamboats day and night was quite invasive.
Hotel is contemporary stylish, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly, excellent location for walking the city. Little plunge pool was a wonderfully refreshing boost after a hot day of walking the city!

United KingdomThe only negatives were the minimal breakfast options, bar closing at 9pm and the noisy train early in the morning (although it wasn’t a biggie for me as I can fall straight back to sleep).
Location was superb. Quiet but not far from Bourbon Street or Canal Street. Views of the Mississippi and 7 minutes walk from Steamboat Natchez. A couple of minutes walk to the nearest street car stop.

United States of AmericaNo major complaints at all. I suppose if you are looking for a big pool, (we weren't there to swim) this pool os a small plunge pool. Small patio Looked like a great place to sit with a drink. Rooftop terrace is tiny but super cute! Really no complaints at all we loved our stay
Location was perfect, tucked in right next to the giant Westin. Beautiful clean facilities. Room was comfortable and pretty, bathroom spacious, great shower and amenities. Keurig and free waters. We love that you must request housekeeping upon arrival because the overall policy is not to enter your room for duration of stay. We think that's great because we usually have to leave do not disturb tags on wherever we go. Staff was pleasant! Didn't eat the continental breakfast but it looked fine. Really beautiful bar.

United States of AmericaThe one slight minus was our room was facing train tracks and trains go by, blaring whistles very loudly, several times a night. The windows lack enough soundproofing for this. This can't be helped by the hotel or its staff, but it's something to consider.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is great, just outside the French Quarter and right by the Riverwalk.

United States of AmericaNothing at all.
Everything. The hotel is absolutely stunning, clean and the people that work there are amazing. It's also in a perfect location. You can walk everywhere. Thank you to the front desk gentleman who was kind enough to let me borrow an umbrella that saved me from the rain and the bartenders for introducing us to a peanut butter martini :)

AustraliaThe room could do with some block out curtains. One of the windows faced the hotel/shopping mall across the road that had flood lights on all night. They lit up the room at night. When we booked we included breakfast, but we were told that breakfast was only included on week days and not the weekend and we weren’t compensated for it.
Amazing room. Clean, very spacious, modern. Really nice hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. Great location, close to the French Quarter, the Aquarium, the casino.
