We could hear the people in the room above us walking around & at times it was very annoying. We could also hear the vehicles in the parking lot & the motors (& motorcycles) being revved up was not pleasant 1st thing in the morning.

The location was perfect, in the middle of everything & right on the river, so it still felt secluded. Comfy bed. The staff was nice & helpful. The room was clean & spacious (it had a musty smell when we 1st arrived, probably because it was right next to the river, but we lit a scented candle & that helped)

The only complaint would be the steps but when we checked in the lady did try to get us a ground floor room. Next time we will request ground floor when we make reservations.

The bathroom floor was dirty and the sink drain was so slow that it was hard to rinse it properly after brushing teeth. The first room we were assigned, the toilet needed 20-30 minutes to fill up so it would flush again.

Town basicly shuts down for night at 9pm

Place met and surpassed expectations. Room was clean, staff friendly, and location was excellent. Bed was comfortble.. Breakfast was adequate, and better than most. Only low points were the dirty grills, and trash by the river. The coffee in the room was pretty bad...thin and bitter. I wish that they would have a coffee dispenser in the lobby for those of us that like a cup after, and before the breakfast hours of 7 to 10am.

The bed sheets did not exactly fit so they would come off in the night. The bed frame was steel and made a lot of noise as you would shift in the bed.

Breakfast was very “light” and, as mentioned, there is no elevator to second-floor rooms.

This property location next to a fast-flowing river and in walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants is unbeatable. Most rooms have a riber view, even the ones on the (elevated) first floor, where we stayed as there is no elevator. Our room was comfy and so was the mattress

The breakfast could have been better. Also check in could be available earlier. I know they had rooms available earlier but made me wait until 3 to check in. For someone who works nights it through a damper into my afternoon activities. They should be able to make exceptions.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to the whole town. Nice view of the river. The rooms exceeded my expectations. They were all brand new. They have kept the ambiance of the outside but upgraded the rooms.

The parking lot for guests is small. I would recommend having larger vehicles park in the lot across the street.

The Riverbend is in a beautiful location. It's an easy walk to the activities in town. We enjoyed the swings along the Chattahoochee for some peaceful, quiet time.

It would’ve been perfect had our mattress been a whole lot more comfortable . The mattress was the hardest one we have ever slept on .

The only downside was how bright the exterior lighting is at night. I know this sounds crazy, but it shines into the room and I enjoy sleeping in complete darkness, so it did interfere with my sleep at times.

The location to all amenities in Helen was a big plus! Walking distance to all eateries and shops! Will definitely stay here again!
