We were hosted in the bedroom right on top of the bar. Music was very loud until 1.30 AM, and music was back on loud at 8 AM.

Bathroom wasn’t super clean - they cleaned every day but the shower was kind of dirty and messy (people left things there, there was hair on the wall). The open area was open from 9-12pm (which doesn’t make sense bc everybody was out of the hostel by this time). No kitchen :(

Please bring your own lock - didnt see it was required before travelling - not used to stay at hostels thats probably why. Staff at the reception could be nicer but ok. Its pretty basic but has what you need for a few days.

I have stayed in only female room, i was lucky everybody was respectful of noise and clean. The room was clean enough. For the price it is good option in expensive Miami.

We arrived at 1:30pm at the hostel and asked if we could already do the check-in process so we can get into the room straight away at 3pm (which is the official check-in time), as we had to leave latest at 4pm for an event and still needed to get ready. We've been told we have to wait until 3pm, nothing can be done before that. So we walked around the area and came back at 3pm. At that time already 7-8 people were in line in front of us to do the check-in. We had to wait at least 1 hour and only got into the room after 4pm (at that time we wanted to be ready and leave). Because of that we left late and got stuck in the rush hour after work traffic which we wanted to avoid. And we were more than 1 hour late for the event. During the second night the card to my room did not work. I went to the reception 4 times and in the end the staff had to come to the room with me and open the door for me. For the second night of our stay we had to book separate rooms upfront (10 bed form female & 10 bed dorm mixed), due to availability. At arrival we asked if a of the booking of one of the other travelers might have changed and they can move us into one room. They told us there is one free bed in the mixed dorm, however the mixed dorm is more expensive vs the female dorm and they would need to charge us the new price of the room now if we want to change. The new price was apparently 162 Dollar (for one bed in a 10 bed dorm!!!). Which was ridiculous because we paid the same price for both dorms when booking the rooms and we did not want to make a new booking, just asked if they can move us into one room (both 10 bed dorms).

The location of the hostel is great if you want to enjoy Miami beach. Even though we had very bad luck and stayed at the hostel during 2 rainy days and could not go to the beach at all. The beds were okay, actually more comfortable than we expected from the pictures, they were just shaking/moving quite a lot. Rooms were quite clean even though you could tell that they were a bit overwhelmed with the amount of guests (it seemed to be fully booked). And there was a lot of luggage standing around in the room which made it hard for staff to clean it properly (obviously not their fault).
