I love the hotel, but reality it needs a huge facelift. There are quite a few things that need attention.

The location is perfect the staff are extremely helpful and we are always welcomed back.

Location is amazing on the beach. Pool and pool staff was lovely. Handy geting beach tote and outrigger water bottle to refill, water stations through out hotel.

The room were of a traditional Hawaii type with dark wooden furniture. Obviously a matter of choice but we thought it made the room a bit dated. Our original room was quite small so we moved in to a larger room. Both rooms did not have a walk in shower - was a conventional bath with a shower curtain. Again, somewhat dated by modern hotel standards

The hotel is right on the Waikiki beach so fantastic location. The staff were on the whole very good but it was a bit mixed at times. Great restaurants within the hotel but very busy as the main two were separate from the hotel.

The staff helped clear up issues that booking.com mislead details about and charged more for but didn't actally change during the booking. Thank God for saved emails. The staff went above and beyond. Every member was so friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here! Great location ,great restaurants inside! Its on the beach and surrounded by tons of shops and things to do. It's a great location. Make sure to explore and venture out. Clean comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will always refer friends amd family!

Location unbeatable right on the beach. All staff from front desk to housekeeping all fantastic. Loved the surfboard hire stand on the beach - so convenient. The wristband used to open your room door and pay for everything was super convenient. Excellent breakfast at Duke’s. Hula Bar and Grill also lovely. A lot of small touches like the water refill station on every floor. Retail shops excellent. Very expensive hotel, particularly if you’re paying in AUD, but you get a great experience for the money. I’d stay here again and get the beachfront room again.

The rooms were very outdated, the sliding was hard to open and had to call someone to get it sorted! The room attendant was friendly but the reception team and other staff weren’t really that friendly!

Rooms were a little dated and it gets quite noisy at night until about 10.30/11.00pm, but that comes with the location.

Fantastic location right on the beach, with loads of shops downstairs as well as in the vicinity. Loved the key card wirst band so you could just go swimming without worrying about losing your room key. Great towel service too and very friendly valet. Clean rooms with really friendly service. They really made our stay super convenient and comfortable, wouldn't change a thing.

Not as noisy on this floor as it was on the 4th floor when we returned in 2 days. We were disappointed that the hotel would not keep our luggage while we flew to Hilo to see the Maunkea and the volcanoes.

We found Waikiki was very crowded - and the area was loud - and felt like we had walked into spring break.

We liked that the hotel was located on the beach but found the pool a tad small.
