Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur ac/heat unit was broken but when notified staff had someone up and it was promptly fixed. My bed was very comfy but when getting in or out I felt like I was falling off- upon inspection turns out that side of the bed was tore up with exposed foam and inside of mattress material visible. But it was clean and super comfy. 🤷♀️
Clean, quiet, spacious. Little cafe/bar is nice to grab a quick bite or drink. Cookies at check in. Very welcoming. Real coffee mugs in the room.

CanadaThe manager when we checked in was very UNhelpful--we had booked this room SPECIFICALLY for the 'kitchen', which I assumed would have an actual fridge, not a mini bar fridge. I had several items that needed to be frozen, and every other hotel we have stayed at had no problem in taking our small cooler overnight to keep in the kitchen freezer. We have done this for years, but prefer (and pay extra) for suites that indicate a kitchen; so that we can keep our own foods/cooler frozen. This manager did not offer to do that, and seemed very annoyed at us for asking. We went back later in the evening, hoping to avoid this manager, and the evening staff had no problem doing exactly as we requested. (The room minifridge has a small freezer section; but it was so coated in ice/frost you could barely squeeze in a water bottle. We have not decide if we will return. The front desk and the bartender, were helpful enough to possibly entice us back.
loved the 'social' in the evening, server/bartender was very welcoming, she did a great job! but the following morning, the breakfast was served cold enough that I didn't want to eat it, the server said the warmers/chafing dishes were not getting hot! So, I was very concerned about food safety...and didn't want to take a chance. The breakfast looked delicious, but there was no other protein options available if you didn't chance the barely warm sausages and eggs.

United States of AmericaThe Pendleton Oxford Suites was by far one of the nicest, best equipped motel we've stayed in. We realize it is a small chain, but wish they were located more places. That's all we'd stay in. Most of all.. the breakfast was outstanding. We liked the breakfast served by the staff rather than everyone swarming around the breakfast area helping themselves. It may sound petty, but it is more sanitary.

CanadaThe breakfast was good. Nice presentation of the raisins/coconut/sugar in individual bowls. I had the porridge and a bite of eggs. Everything was easy to find. The breakfast location was good, across from the check in desk. Thank you for the dog bowl and treats.

United States of AmericaThat I decided to eat in their bistro restaurant and waited almost an hour for my sandwich. The waitress apologized and said the chef had burned the bacon. Well, the sandwich bun was burned in places, and there was no dressing on it, either. I decided not to eat breakfast there in the morning. And their Marketplace shelves were bare except for gum and shampoo! I was told their supplies had not arrived. However, there were lots of sodas and wine in the cooler, just no snacks.
Great room, big bathroom, lots of lighting, walk-in shower and plenty of grab bars. They had sent me a message offering to upgrade my room, but I requested an Acessible room on the first floor, and that's what I got.
