Unable to get a kitchen. When moved noticed the king deluxe 1bed downstairs was way better looking and and cared for. Vs the 2nd room upstairs is a bit on the lower appealing scale. Felt I overpaid with the inconvenience of noise complaint the 1st night. I was offered to move but I ended up in a much a lesser quality room from the 1st night of stay.

Easily approved to switch rooms from 1st floor to 2nd floor due to upstairs disturbance of running, banging and hard walking throughout the night on the 1st night of stay. That was appreciated.

The door to the bathroom did not close. The idea of a sliding door was nice. It was unfortunate that it did not work as planned.

The location was ideal. It was close to family. The room was clean and large. The bathroom was larger as well. There was a continental breakfast and coffee in the morning.

There was not a coffee maker but we don't drink coffee so not a problem. There was coffee at front desk. There was a space under door that could let cold in if ever got cold in Houston.

We stayed there a couple of years ago and was nice and clean so decided to stay again. They have upgraded since then and even nicer. Clean and comfortable with lots of space. Had refrigerator and micowave and nice size tv. with FOX CHANNEL. We called ahead to be sure we got a downstairs no smoking room and that is what we got.

Stay at this location every 6-8 weeks visiting grandchildren. We love this location ok n.Had a problem this time with loud noises upstairs from. 10p -2A our last night this trip.Call office to ask if some one could ask the roofers to stop running,jumping, moving furniture? do we could sleep.Didnt stop.Ask clerk if they'd did anything ...acted like he knew nothing about it....

This place was very simple. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, free of mold, no bugs or roaches seen. Bedspread had couple small holes, maybe cigarette burns which is unappealing. Every time I went to office there was a guy sleeping upright in a chair which was strange.

Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Location was good.

There were a couple of hiccups with my booking and key but the staff worked hard to get me situated.

Although new, the refrigerator wasn’t working. I’m a bit upset about the price change. Apparently the price I paid was the 7-day stay rate (I only stayed 4) and Booking.com has it wrong. I was charged an additional $10 per day. what was frustrating about that is this was a problem between the hotel and Booking. I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistake. I was in no position to cancel, seek a refund and search for another place, so I paid the difference. The reason I chose this place was because of the price (I was on a tight budget), instead of another hotel that was closer and served breakfast — for the same price that I ultimately ended up paying.

It is a very clean facility with great cleaning services. The room was nice and modern. Hard surface floors were nice, instead of nasty carpet. There was also great water pressure in the shower.
