Some of the snacks were out of date. The fridge was also loud at night as I felt like it was too big for the room. It would have been nice to have open windows as we are not a fan of air cons running constantly.

The location was perfect as you could walk down to South Beach or get the trolley. The environment wasn't loud and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff was friendly and helped us with some additional stuff when checking out.

It was hard to get ahold of staff to make coffee or breakfast, dirty plates would sit for hours on table or in a hallway, the fact we have to hope that someone is available to open gate to parking lot was inconvenient.

Elevator is super slow we have to use the stairs to go up there. Also it is a little too dark in my opinion to go up stairs specially if you have kids. Should be More kid friendly I guess.

There was a lovely warm welcome from the staff and the hotel was in a great location. This is a great boutique hotel that has lots of character. Some people have mentioned a musty smell, but it really wasn't too bad at all - probably more related to the Miami heat! The hotel was clean enough and had great facilities. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

I booked a deluxe king studio. However there’s no window and I don’t see any ventilation system equipped in the room. So it’s really not flattering for someone stayed here for several days.

The location of the hotel is close to the beach, just 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel is aged but clean.

Couldn't use hair dryer since it activated the smoke alarm and caused disconfort to other guests. Please note I could not open the windows to let the smoke out or use it on the bathroom because there were no outlets.

The WIFI signal speed isn't very fast. Our reservation was for a room with microwave and kitchenette apliances, but when we arrived there were all booked, so the front desk staff were kind enough to give us a room with balcony in compensation. There was a fair amount of noise from the hallways and upper floors that was audible from our room, but wasn't a deal breaker.

Great place to stay for a few days and experience Miami Beach. Location was fine, two blocks from the beach line, and complementary chairs included. It's a little more far from the city center, but that wasn't an issue is my wife and I love to walk, and there is free ride service in the public trolley in any case. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff in the front desk were nice and attentive. We were satisfied with the price/value of the reservation.

I will say it seemed like there was never anyone behind the bar and sometimes it took a long time to find anyone who worked there to order things with or ask a question at the front desk. We tried calling the front desk with a question over and over again and no one answered. I think you guys could use some more staff, but otherwise a lovely place!

We loved our stay at Hotel Trouvail! The design of the space is so eclectic and tropical feeling, the pool deck is a dream, and the breakfast is amazing. The staff was very kind and patient with us when we had a few hours before we could check in to our airbnb, and hung out by the pool.

The decorations in the room were a little odd. It would almost be better if there wasn't anything rather than three plates and a portrait of someone we don't know. And the elevator was quite slow so we mostly just used the stairs

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and amenities plenty (shampoo, conditioner,mini bar with snacks, etc). I guess I was expecting a little more decoration in the room other than three random plates and a picture of a man who we never could figure out who it was. It would also be nice if there was a second sink in the bathroom itself. The pool area is lush, beautiful, and so relaxing. The coffee in the bar area was perfect and what we had for dinner was delicious. They even offer bikes and beach chairs (first come first serve). And it's only a little bit more of a block away from the beach!

Our room lacked a desk.

Location was good - between North Beach and South Beach. The hotel provided vouchers for chairs at the beach nearby. Front desk was helpful. Lovely building, and charming, clean room. Pool. On-site parking - for a fee.
