Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The buildings and rooms are a bit dated. Our card keys got deactivated the last 2 nights. I went for Coachella so it was bothersome to arrive to the hotel late at night and have the keys not working and having to go to the lobby to activate them again. The staff were pretty friendly and quick when reactivating them, though.
Location is pretty good as it is close to Palm Springs Convention Center. The room was better than I expected considering the price and the bathroom was clean enough. Has enough parking.

the outside walls needs painting. the floor in the room needed to be swept or vacuumed, I liked the hotel just needs a bit more updating.

Of course, the rugs and paint in the hallways need to be redone, as well as the paint and stucco patches on the exterior of the property's buildings. The TV has basic Spectrum channels, with no standard cable channels, which was quite a surprise. (however, we coped by watching Hulu and Prime on our laptop). Microwave and fridge were clean, but quite old. Water temperature varied, indicating an older water heating system that needs replacement.
Despite the pretty shabby condition of the hallways outside the rooms, the room interiors were freshly painted with new rugs and bathroom tile, and very clean. Towels were basic but soft, bedding and bed were comfy, toiletries adequate. A great value if you just need a quiet and clean room with a good bed for a night or two. Wifi was very good. Good lighting in room.

For the size of the room (it slept 6) the bathroom was very small Poor drainage in the shower and the water temperature you could maintain.

Room was in the back.. Felt like we were put into the cheap budget rooms.. Patio area in desperate need of repair.. Sliding glass door kept jamming.. Balcony overhead completely rotted out.. Ready to collapse.. Felt we wereovercharged for what we got!

The room and hallways could be cleaner. The hallways were very dated and drab.
Reasonably priced. Convenient location. They had our room ready at 2. Pool clean and inviting.

The hotel was a bit rundown and needs a renovation for sure. The room in the picture was not the room I got.
Easy to get to and most of the staff were nice. The diner next door was amazing and had the best food and servers.

The toilet flushed so strong that the water and debris splashed out of the toilet; even when closing the lid, it got dirty, so needed to be cleaned. The room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but I''m sure the housekeepers do the best they can; the ones we saw were very nice and helpful. Not a lot of room in the bathroom for toiletries, etc; more counter space is always nice. And there was only a chair at the desk/table; no comfy chair, which my friend in the wheelchair would have found helpful. Overall, it was acceptable.
We needed an accessible room for my friend in a wheelchair. It worked out well; not sure if she would have managed on her own though. There were grab bars and the parking spot was right outside of the room, which was super convenient. Staff was really nice and helpful. There is a restaurant right onsite for breakfast and lunch, which was really nice.
