Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bathroom needs a magnifying mirror for women like me who are middle age and require it to apply makeup. A decent hairdryer would also be a nice addition. We ate at the Del Rey one night and found the food to be average but expensive.
I liked the aesthetic of the hotel and the quiet location. We were upgraded to a 2 room suite on arrival which was great! The staff was friendly and helpful and the morning breakfast was a perfect start to our day.

United States of AmericaThe shower in our room did not contain the water and the whole bathroom flooded. The staff offered more towels to soak up the water which helped.
The staff was very welcoming, offered a drink at check in, which was lovely! Breakfast was very good, high quality and great coffee! Also I loved the property! Beautiful landscaping and fountains , and pool area was relaxing and stylish.

New ZealandWe stayed two nights, but the beds were not made, and the towels were not replaced during that time. Not sure if that's normal procedure these days?
Excellent breakfast, and included in the cost.

This is a beautiful hotel and perfect for a romantic getaway. Breakfast was plentiful-yoghurt,fruit,granola,pastries,bagels,smoked salmon, cream cheese. The restaurant was cosy on a cool evening with a wood fire burning serving great cocktails and tapas.

United States of AmericaBe aware that the parking situation might be difficult. They do have designated guest parking wedged tightly between the property & the street, if you arrive late or at a busy time you may have to park on the street (The streets in this area are not well-lit at night). Rooms do not have great sound proofing, it’s okay for the most part, because the guests are respectful & noise stops after 10, but if you are sensitive to noise it may bother you.
Great staff that is very accommodating & friendly. The amenities & good vibes they provide are unmatched for a hotel of this size. Beautiful venue; a great location in a residential area that is close to downtown, but far enough away for some needed peace & quiet. The Del Rey restaurant was delightful; a tapas style restaurant (basically: everything is an appetizer), a little pricey if you are trying to fill up. However, the drinks were tasty & unique, while the atmosphere was cozy & intimate! Food-wise, the flavors were on point & very memorable, great fun to share!

United States of AmericaBreakfast area is small, and so it's a real scuffle trying to get to everything with 20 people over a tiny table, this needs to be moved to a bigger area. The rooms have no areas to hang towels (hooks etc.), except for the closet, which just doesn't work. Plugs are also quite rare, some more would be helpful. Would have appreciated a heads-up from front desk about the fact that they don't clean the rooms daily as we were out of signal when the text arrived.
Loved the design of the hotel, as well as the 'home' like rooms with mini-kitchen and outside seating areas. The multiple stunning pool areas and music playing all over was perfection. The giant field out back to let the dogs run was a gorgeous green oasis. Breakfast was just enough to be filling! Cocktails and drinks brought to our room were delicious. Text based concierge is easy to use.

United KingdomThere was a lot of maintenance going on during the day. We were there during the week but housekeeping carts and such kept going by on rattling wheels over the Spanish tiles.
It’s a beautiful and serene retreat. Very quick drive or bike ride to downtown. Great staff. We were upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. Although we went on our own, it would be a great place to go with a group of friends as many rooms have a separate living room and bar area. The bar on site is also wonderful.

United States of Americamenu for eating at the restaurant
The calming effect it had on my husband and I. Our room was in the perfect location, room 34, king size bed, fireplace with an outside back area you can sit and be secluded or in the front of room you could lay by the pool and see the mountains and be surrounded by lush greenery. The room had the room with a bed, two side tables, 2 chairs with a table. The room also came with a nicely decorated bathroom, it had a small room in the back with a desk and that is where the door to the outside back sitting area was, you could see the mountains over the wall. The room also came with a big closet and bathrobes and a separate bar area. It was like being in a little apartment. The entire complex is beautiful and the people working there were wonderful. We would definitely recommend this place for a couple wanting to get away for a peaceful get away. Free Breakfast had healthy choices and I needed that being at home I don't eat so well :) Not a big variety of items to choose from and it was the same each day but my husband and I didn't mind as long as it filled our bellies for the day. We didn't eat dinner there but did have drinks in the lounge area. It was beautiful inside and the outside eating area was very tranquil.

United States of AmericaNothing we liked everything.
From the moment we arrived we were treated very well by the staff and they were even able to get us into a room early so we could lounge by the pool. Our room was so comfy and also so well decorated. It was a high quality room from the moment you stepped in. We ordered some food and drinks while we were lounging by the pool and both were exceptional. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night.

Absolutely loved the chill vibe of this property, and the amenities. If you truly want to relax and avoid the party scene this is the place to be. I could have stayed for weeks as other bed in our room was so comfortable and there was a separate closet/desk area that even had a private patio (pet friendly?). It was July but even so it was an excellent deal to survive the summer heat. The restaurant and bar(s) on the property were also excellent.
