Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The gym could have been cleaner and there was no possibility to disinfect the machines/equipment

Everything was wonderful but saw the breakfast included, the eggs looked watery.

In my room the air conditioning was not working well.
I love the location always green and the room is well laid out. I travel with pets and I appreciate that the hotel accommodates them.

There wasn't anything that was disliked.
The bed was very comfortable. I usually wake up with backaches and neck aches in a hotel but not at this hotel.

There is nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect for me needs. I hope to be able to stay there again. I have not complaints about anything. As far as I am concerned there is nothing negative that I can say.
I have stayed here several times and it is always excellent. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable beds and pillows, always clean and housekeeping does a great job. I like the king rooms that have a sofa bed because it is more comfortable to watch TV. I had 3 trips back to back for a medical procedure and having the sofa made it much more comfortable. They do have a continental breakfast every morning and they are opening a restaurant on the property soon. I can hardly wait to try it. There are two restaurants and a Ralph's market in the next property as well as a gas station. There is a Walgreens drug store, Starbucks, restaurants and Walmart across the street. I love this hotel and I am never disappointed. I recommend this hotel.

Great location! This place is a hidden gem 💎 The staff was very helpful. Rooms were all recently refurbished and it's walking distance to several restaurants.

Room darkening shades would help.
Upgraded modern boutique hotel, very clean with great breakfast included: eggs, sausages, potatoes, etc. The room had beautiful white shutters, but a little light came in through these. It would probably be good to have room darkening shades as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and upgraded. The toiletries were very small; so I would be sure to bring your own shampoo. The location was excellent, right off of the freeway and very close to the wedding venue at Shadowbrook Country Club. Since it is located right off of the freeway, it is a little noisy. Bring earplugs if needed. I would stay again!

That their elevator is far from all rooms.
Rooms were clean. I usually get a downstairs room but since we were running late we had to walk away from the elevator to our room but they accommodated us the next day. Very nice.

The TV didn't work initially, which caused me to miss most of the Laker game. However, someone fixed the problem.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The lobby and the grounds are so well taken care of. Felt like we were at a resort. The rooms were spotless. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The pool is heated to a comfortable degree. Only suggestion I’d make is, more fruit options at breakfast. But this hotel is seriously awesome. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

I hate their breakfast .. the worst .. I’m hoping with the new restaurant that the breakfast improves . Because right now that breakfast belongs in motel 6

Employees were not really around to talk to about something
My room was on the lower level, but someone was in the court yard in s lounge chair with their radio playing loudly at night.

There is nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect!
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. It’s always clean. You can always get extra towels if you need them. It’s very pretty there and they have a continental breakfast in the morning. The staff is wonderful. They are almost through with the restaurant. It looks like it’s going to be a wonderful place to eat and have cocktails.
