The hotel is stunning, boasting impressive and tasteful decor. Every staff member wears a welcoming smile, and I was pleasantly surprised when the doorman remembered my name. I left a lasting impression when I quickly went out to buy a leash for my dog, showcasing their attentive service. The restaurant offers exquisite and delicious food, especially the wood-smoked grilled steak! The inclusive breakfast is rich, and the omelette is exceptionally tasty. I find it perplexing that some people describe the breakfast as average – what more could you ask for?

Husband didn’t like drinks by the pool on each of our stays.

Staff was above and beyond amazing. Facility is gorgeous, spacious and pleasing to the eyes. We always enjoy the food at waters edge, ponto lago and ember ant rye. I wasn’t thrilled with the fish and chips at pacific point. But husband loved the buns and the kids enjoyed their food

We were there for a conference, yet our room was on the absolute opposite side of the conference room. It would've been nice if we didn't have a room ultra far from where we needed to be each day and walk MILES to get to our meeting (which also happens to be on the extreme far end of the resort.) That was so messed up.

Room rates were quite high, considering services are down in terms of what is offered in the hotel (housekeeping, turn down service, etc.)

Location was good. Renovations to update the hotel were nice. The room was nice, but I thought overpriced. Brunch at the golf course restaurant was nice, outdoors overlooking the lagoon.

The pool area. There were so many people with screaming kids using a day pass (that weren't even probably staying at the hotel) Hundreds of them!! It was horribly crowded. They looked like they had come from over the Mexico border. Evening team, they restaurant was shabbily crowded too.

Aviara market was the best thing; the menu and items available to buy. Lovely shop / food place

Roomservice made multiple errors. Hotel is short staffed so long wait times for service or deliveries. Lifts are tired. Lack of food variety over 4 days. Not enough restaurant options. Bathroom toiletries not changed daily.

Our valet scratched the car and tried to hide it. The cameras on property showed he scratched the car. I’m glad it was a rental car but having the valet scratch your car is very unacceptable especially at a luxury hotel. Also there were a lot of kids at the property screaming in the hallways. That was not the hotels fault but beware this is not a quiet place.
