A shame the hotel bar closes at 9.30 on weekdays.

Very comfortable and convenient. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Splendid view from the rooftop bar.

The blinds in the bathroom were in a worn state and wouldn’t stay in the groove when lowered. Definitely needs replacing. The blind in the bedroom showed signs of wear, too. We asked to check in early this time. We needed to get ready to go to an event, but had to pay a $35 extra fee. Was a little surprised by this.

We have stayed here many times and really enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and amenities such as the morning coffee served on each floor, the rooftop lounge and the incredible breakfast.

Traffic got a little loud once in a while. Considering the Hotel is close to a by-pass, it wasn't too bad. Mainly motorcycles were the worst.

I liked the walk-in shower. It was nice not having to step into a tub. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable. Liked the memorabilia that was on display.

That we couldn’t stay longer. This

Hotel Parq Central is a GEM! A wonderful & out-of-the-ordinary property. Lots of charm. Not “sterile” like the national hotel brands. Lots of attention to detail, with lots of gathering spots and conversation groupings. A hot breakfast served in a roomy parlor with fresh selections - made right on property. A lovely courtyard that invites you to stay & relax. A rooftop bar & lounge with indoor & outdoor dining. The staff were attentive, service-oriented, and aimed to please. We travel a lot & this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in years. Bravo Hotel Parq!

Even though the breakfast was great, the mini quiches were not warm enough. This wasn't a surprise, as I'd read that in past reviews.

Loved this historical property, and the enthusiasm from the front desk clerk when asked about it. Also, he was super helpful in getting us to our room that was in the doctors' residence in this old ATSF hospital converted to a hotel in 2010. The breakfast was such an improvement over the breakfasts we'd eaten during our week long trip at other chain hotels.

    Bathtub!

I had a tough check in, but the two women working the front the next morning when I wanted to extend my stay (I paid for 2 nights the first night due to a glitch in booking.coms communication with hotel parq central. With that being said, I got my second night upgraded to a bigger room. Wish I could remember the two wonderful ladies at the front desk it was a weekday in the AM

    There’s nothing I don’t like.

It’s such a nice property. It’s gorgeous and relaxing from the moment you walk in. I also appreciate the doggy area. Although this trip my dog was not with me. The beds are extremely comfortable and I don’t know if it is because it was a hospital before but the rooms are very quiet you don’t hear other guests or hallway noise. Also the Apothecary bar upstairs is a great place to grab a cocktail and some delicious treats!

Parking is hard on weekends because of the popular bar on the rooftop. Dedicated parking spots should be included, since they are literally at the front door, at such a high price Hotel.

Breakfast is pretty good. little egg quiches could have been warmer and the coffee wasn't great, but overall, these are small complaints to a great Hotel breakfast Room.
