not worth it’s price. when you book marriott you expect something. this marriott is a joke. it was really cold in our room all the time. a/c didn’t work for heating at all. room was dusty and rather dirty. chewing gum was stuck on the carpet. no slippers, no robes. for some reason they put two identical fiji waters in the room, but with different price tags (for what? you expect me to buy one for 5$ and other for 5,50$?) . at the same time, we had to ask for free water, and they gave us only cheap purified water. the cleaning lady came to the next room and started vacuuming loudly at 8 in the morning. what if we were going to sleep some more? breakfast is a joke. everything was like in usual motel on the road. room keys stopped working at 10am. one hour before check out. as i said before it’s not worth its price. If I didn't trust the positive reviews here and the name of the Marriott, I would never settle here.

Poor cleaniness with previous customer food left in fridge and improper cleaning of the rooms, poor attitude of the manager, bad customer service of staff. Despite letting the manager know via email and messages about the hotel, the manager did not even bother to call back or respond.

the room wasn’t clean for four days . No clean towels. We asked the front desk for clean towels and they said to come down and get the towels ourselves. twice we ask the front desk and maid to clean the room but never did.

The toilet is separate from the shower; both have sliding doors instead of standard doors. Feel the toilet's sliding door is less private, "soundproof". The toilet also made very loud vibration sound when tank was filling up with water. Had a scare around 11:45 pm when someone tried twice to get into our room. The person was not able to since we had the door "latch" engaged. Received call from front desk; and turned out that it was a guest trying to get in who had been given, through mobile app, the "key" to our room. The front desk made mistake, Don't understand how that occurred. It's very troubling that the same room can be given access to different guests; one would think the system would prevent that.

Booked the Queen Suite and was pleased with the size of the room. Liked the fact that there was "divider" between the desk/sitting area. Nice that breakfast is provided; had good variety.

The room was very dusty, the couch was so dirty I could not sit on it!! The mattress was dirty, for 300.00 a night no way is this worth it. The front desk was very condescending and rude, for the exception of one gentleman. The Restaurant only had four items to order from. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Thank God for all the beauty outside, the mountains,the ocean and the wineries. This was the only reason it was worth our trip. We would obviously stay at a different place.

the noise of the air conditioner and the price.

everything was clean and the staff were welcoming. we would have rated it a 10, but it being a warmer day we had the air running. I don’t know if it was a bad unit, but we were woken up at approximately 2:00 am with the air conditioner making a horrible sound. it would be extremely loud for about 10 minutes, go back to normal for a bit and then do the same thing. we were traveling with a teething toddler, so a loud noise waking him was the last thing we needed.

have stayed many times property getting little tired and needs some maintenance in bathrooms paid a lot to stay 5 nights but no maid service had to go get towels and empty our garbage restaurant food definitely went down our dinner was cold and pasta noodles not cooked

The location of this hotel is deceiving. It is actually not at all in Paso Robles and getting transportation via uber, lyft, or taxi is a nightmare. We generally waited 20 minutes or more (up to an hour) and almost missed our flights back because of this. Additionally, there were two days during our stay where water in the showers was cold. I should note there was a couple's retreat there while we were there. When we asked the front desk about this, we were told to take showers after 11am as the cold water was presumably the result of a lot of people showering at the same time. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel in my opinion. Last, but not least, they have a strange rule about closing out part of your stay if it is over $1,000, and this policy resulted in multiple holds on our cards. It was quite annoying and unnecessary, especially while traveling.

The staff at the property was wonderful. They were helpful and kind, and they tried to answer all of our questions. I also enjoyed the restaurant and the outdoor ambiance with the fire pit. The breakfast was your average continental situation - not bad but nothing to write home about. The wine selection and bartenders were absolutely amazing!
