Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe did not like the fact that our room didn't come with a fridge. The price to stay for one night was on the higher end of what we wanted to spend. I would have expected a mini fridge. The bathroom was also very small and the design made it hard to access. Definitely could not share with husband. They do offer an upgrade for that. It was a one person at a time-bathroom. . However, the room was clean and complimentary items were nice. The price was high. You are paying for location and historical value. We had a nice time!
The historical hotel was very cool. Lots of neat things to check out inside and around it. The location is perfect for Beale street activities and we were able to walk to The Flight, where we made dinner reservations. It was a short walk with nice views on the way. Beale St was fun. We took a walk through after having supper. Lots of fun and cool shops and places to eat on Beale and even headed there. The lights and music made it a good time. We LOVED the room service breakfast. The butter was shaped like a duck! Too neat! Great place to visit and stay for our anniversary. It was peaceful while yet fun and enjoyable! The bed was very comfortable too!

BermudaWe got back to the room after the party and a late dinner, got ready for bed then found our sheets were dirty. There was makeup all over the pillowcases and fitted sheet. After calling reception, they moved our room which meant packing everything up and moving 6 floors at 11.30pm. Not ideal when you just want to go to bed! Also, the cute little duck soap, it doesn’t need to be changed to a fresh one every day! We thought this was a real waste.
The history of the property was amazing. The duck parade was cute but the reception area gets extremely busy. Also on our first night, there was a rooftop party was was fun too!

United States of AmericaI really didn’t find anything that I didn’t enjoy.
The room and location was excellent. I was able to walk and tour Beale Street. I drove in my private car and was just a few blocks from the hot spots of Memphis. I was in a perfect location to walk to resturants with live music and having cocktails.

United States of AmericaOur night at The Peabody was exceptional. We chose to spend our 30th anniversary here, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The room was great...clean, comfortable, roomy. The location was wonderful...easy walk to Beale St and great music and restaurants. And, of course, the March of the Ducks! This was truly a dream come true!

United States of AmericaThey need an elevator solely for the bellman to get luggage to and from rooms. It took at least 20 minutes for us to get an elevator that we could get on. They were all full. Every time one came to us, it was jammed pack. I got my granddaughter the fruit with her dinner. The berries were moldy and “furry”. Text for my car. Was told it would be 8 minutes. Ended up waiting 40 minutes which is a bit excessive
The staff is the best part of this hotel. Everyone is very helpful. Jeffery who brought my luggage in, really went out of his way to make my 2 year old granddaughter happy.

United KingdomTiny bathroom and noise from crying child in adjoining room. Poor soundproofing
It is an iconic hotel in a great location. Hotel has a great vibe. Our room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was tiny. Bed was very comfy. Disappointed there were no facilities in the room to make hot drinks but when we asked they brought a kettle and a coffee maker and supplies
