Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bolt lock on the door didn't work- although the card ekectronic mechanism worked I didn't feel entirely secure with just that keeping the door shut. Also there was a used condom hanging over the rim of the trashcan that housekeeping must have missed.
You get what you pay for- I wanted to spend as little as possible to sleep in an actual bed and use an actual bathroom for the night. I got just that. The room was clean enough, I'm sure if walls could talk I'd be very entertained. I saw zero evidence of pests/infestation or mold. It's a fine place to stay if you don't want to camp. Plus tge manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. A delightful person to chat with.

United States of AmericaTHE MOTEL NEEDS SO MUCH WORK--THE ROOMS ARE NOT AS PHOTGRAPHED; THE CARPETING IN THE ROOMS IS OLD AND SMELLY, NEEDS PULLED UP AND LAMINATE INSTALLED. ANY PAINTING THAT WAS DONE WAS DONE CARELESSLY AND WITHOUT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THE SHOWER STALL DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE FAUCET COVER PLATE. WINDOW SILLS IN REAR WERE FULL OF LEAVES AND THE WINDOWS ARE OBVIOUSLY OLD. THE CHAIRS IN BOTH OUR ROOMS ARE OLD AND STAINED UP AND DIDN'T WELCOME US TO SIT. THE ROOM ARRANGEMENT WAS AWKWARD WITH THE CLOTHES HANGING RACK OVER THE BED. THE BEDSIDE POLE LAMP IN MY ROOM WAS WOBBLY AND THE ELECTRICAL PLUG KEPT GOING OUT AND 'TRIPPING', I HAD TO RESET IT SEVERAL TIMES. THE BEDSPRESADS ARE OLD AND NEED WASHED OR REPLACED. THE 'DRAPES' ON THE WINDOWS DIDN'T FIT PROPERLY AND HAVE HOLES IN THEM........THERE IS JUST SO MUCH THAT NEEDS UPDATED/ADDRESSED...ATTENTION TO DETAIL MEANS ALOT AND THIS IS SORELY OVERLOOKED. SOME MONEY NEEDS TO BE SPENT TO MAKE THIS A PLACE OF PRIDE AND COMFORT FOR GUESTS. TO BE HONEST, WE FELT LIKE WERE STAYING IN A SEEDY 'NO TELL MOTEL'.
THE MANAGER "TAMMY" WAS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING AND CHECKED ON US. CHECK-IN PROCESS WAS FLAWLESS. S/HE WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL OUR QUESTIONS AND ADDRESSED OUR EVERY QUESTION AS WE WERE NOT FROM THE AREA. S/HE TRIED HARD TO MAKE US FEEL AS WELCOME AS POSSIBLE.

United States of AmericaThe heat didn't work and there was a big gap in the bottom of the front door so it left in a bad draft. It smelled like a turtle tank in the room. One of beds was completely lopsided. The carpet was sticky and there were Cheerios left in the tub drain.
The facility and rooms are very poor, dirty and smelly but the price is rated correctly and the staff was really nice. Parking lot has potholes but the location is walking distance to PA rennfaire which was why we were there.

United States of AmericaThe original room we were booked in smelled of old cigarettes, the bathroom was tiny and dirty and there were 2 stink bugs hanging out at the top edge of 2 walls. It was also too small to comfortably set up our baby's crib. They changed our room and it was a lot better, but still smelled a bit moldy this time. The bathroom was bigger but still dirty. The wall paper was pealing in a few places and the carpet was questionable. Overall the place really needs a renovation. It was half the price of the Comfort Inn next door so there's that.
Being able to walk to the Ren Faire was a big bonus. I hate getting stuck in the traffic going to and especially leaving.

United States of AmericaThe shower was torn up and I could see mold and holes in the walls. The mold extended out into the bathroom. The carpet was recently vacuumed but as I walked barefoot across it and saw that the bottoms of my feet were brown (I have pale skin). Also the carpet became more damp throughout the night, it started as dry, I don't know how it happened either. A mopvac would fix most of your issue but it would need to be used regularly. A bissel crosswave at least once a week but preferably between guests then leave the A/C on to dehumidify or open the room up on days with nice weather. Mattress could use a topper.
The Staff was extremely polite and friendly. The proximity of the hotel to Mount Hope made it easy to drink and walk to bed. Recent vacuuming. No signs of bed bugs that I could find (I looked hard just to be sure).

United States of AmericaThe bed and sheets seemed clean and the mattress was comfortable but the room itself was not very clean, and sure needs a facelift. I understand they are renovating a little at a time but the room we had was clearly not renovated yet. It was pricey considering the shape of the room, but you pay for location…walkable to the Celtic Fling! Also beware…the room we had (145) had a raised floor at the entrance that I did not see in the dark (no windows!) and tripped over, hitting my head pretty hard on the table ( see picture of raised floor below)
Proximity to Mount Hope Estate and Winery. The manager was very sweet

United States of AmericaThe mattress was gross, filled with stains and dirt. There was no fitted sheet, just 2 top sheets. The bottom sheet looked like it hadn't been changed from the last person. It was full of dirt and little crunchy pieces of what I can assume were leaves. The shower was full of mold in all the cracks. The bathroom door had some kind of graffiti on it (not a big deal but unprofessional to leave there). Toilet and sink were fine but bathroom walls were a little beat up. Around 9 on our second day the power to our room went out except in the bathroom. That was very weird. But dirty is ok as long as there are no bugs. You get what you pay for.
We went looking for breakfast and didnt find any. Just a coffee machine in the lobby.

United States of AmericaAbsolutely appalling, almost ramshackle! 1st room had graffiti on one wall, no mirrors and was filthy. 2nd room offered wasn't much better (only marginally cleaner and toilet kept backing up... there was a plunger next to it so this is obviously an ongoing problem/shower not working properly) but I had no options locally, hotel-wise. I remembered staying here several years ago (different owners) and it has CERTAINLY changed. Front desk person was fabulous and accommodating, but things went downhill from there. The property has seemingly slipped from "low budget" to "no budget" and that's a shame. It used to be a great place to stay! But never again.

United States of AmericaBeing accused of something I didn’t partake in and being told I had to leave or the cops was going to be called. is this a place of business where youre trying to make money or is it a hangout where they pick and choose who stays or who can check inn which is also another reason as to why they don’t make money!
some of the residents that live there were really cool I met some genuine people during my stay there.
