It was just….itself. Charming, quirky, close and yet just far enough away from everything. Very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyed interactions with other guests. Just a great experience.

Mosquitoes, take some insect repellent if sitting out on the porch or going near the water front.

Lovely quirky house. Comfortable room and really comfortable bed. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We arrived early and Ann made sure our room was ready for us. Loved the happy hour meeting other guests. Breakfast was also very good. Location is fantastic, you can leave your car and walk everywhere.

We did have some trouble with the TV up there. Was told there was no cable service for the ‘attic room’. It was Oscar night and we wound up having to watch on our IPad. The tiny sink area was minimal but, ‘serviceable’. A full-height, garment/clothes hanging bar would be better than what was provided.

We always look for more ‘unique’ places to stay. Out of the ordinary, not ‘run-of-the-mill’ places. The Penny Farthing was charming, quaint, good breakfasts (accommodated my GF needs). Enjoyed conversing with guests. We had the top floor, rooftop room with our own ‘widow’s walk’ private deck and little gazebo. So nice! A bit of a haul with our luggage, etc. but, once settled in for 4 nights, worth it. Comfortable bed and ‘living area’. The location was excellent, quiet, off the beaten tourist track, yet close enough to walk to everything.

For this particular area the parking was a nightmare and trying to get out of the parking lot at this B & B was not easy. That was the only thing we did not like.

I loved staying in this Victorian style home. It was so quaint and it gave us a different experience from the typical hotel experience. It was more personal, comfortable, and memorable. I am so happy we chose to stay at this B & B.

Although our room was attractively decorated with period furnishings, it was at the back of the house and felt a bit dark and gloomy, with window blinds difficult to open. Bathroom facilities adequate but very cramped.

Quaint 19th century wooden house on a quiet street within easy walking distance of many local attractions. Very friendly owner. Free car parking for guests is particularly welcome in St.Augustine.

Parking is lousy as you have to back out and there isn’t much room between the vehicles and branches (small trees near the home) which scratched my truck maneuvering through … I would recommend remove the trees and put in a flower bed.

Location was great … Breakfast was good … April was very nice … The owner could be a little more personable but I understand inheriting a business at a young age must be stressful but take some deep breaths instead of coming across as uptight.

It got a little chilly at night but it was nothing a warm tub soak and getting under the blankets couldn’t remedy.

The property was in perfect location and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Katherine room with our own porch and porch swing. It felt like we were in the trees with the birds while drinking our coffee in the morning. The breakfasts were delicious every morning. And the cats roaming around were a plus for us as cat people.
