Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe park closes at a certain time making for a little further walk easily fixed with some transportation.
The location is perfect for being close enough to the fun and far enough for some quiet. Having waters in the fridge was a bonus after a long travel day. The age of the home just added to the charm of the whole NOLA experience.

United KingdomDon't expect hotel quality - expectations should be closer to living in a friends' (older) house, and not everything is perfect. These elements weren't a big deal for us, but might be worth noting for some; - There's only air conditioning (AC) in the living room. There are strong fans in the other rooms, e.g. bedroom and hallway which make up for that pretty well, but don't expect perfect temperature control without noise. Bring earplugs if the fan sound will bother you in the night. - The shower water pressure is average, and the shower head is magnetically mounted which falls off quite easily. Also the shower head has 3 settings, none of which were ideal for me (I'm used to the ones with beads in with tiny holes which produce numerous stronger jets of water). Overall, wasn't a great shower experience for me personally.
Great little property, 25 minute walk from all the action in the French Quarter. Incredible value for money compared to the cost of most of the hotels & Airbnbs in the area, and you're getting an entire property with living room, large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom to yourselves. Very well stocked, feels like an actual home with everything someone needed to live there available (presumably the host also lives there sometimes too or has lived there in the past). Someone has obviously taken the time to think about everything guests might need and provide it for them, including simple nice gestures like having lots of cold bottled water available in the fridge and having toiletries available in the bathroom. We had our sleepy pet cat with us and he seemed very comfortable too, he settled in easily in the bedroom and relaxed in his cat bed all night!

United States of AmericaThe house was in the perfect location. Close to the French quarter without being in the center of the party and within a mile of the superdome and smoothie king center. The owner was so nice. He gave recommendations and let us know he was available anytime if we needed anything during our stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to New Orleans.

United States of AmericaWe have no complaints at all.
We liked its location -- just half a block from Louis Armstrong park -- and its historic nature. How often in the US does one get to stay in a 250-year-old home? But even beyond those things, we can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the people in the neighborhood and the property managers were. The principal manager, Lloyd, had a family emergency that took him out of town during our stay, but his "back-up" manager, Andre, went 'way above and beyond any reasonable expectation we had to help us out when we were getting ready to leave to drive down to the port to start our cruise to the Panama Canal and discovered the twelve-volt battery in our Prius was dead. When we called him to see if he could suggest a roadside assistance service we could call, he drove from his house and then called AAA (he's a member) for us. He was, if not a life saver, at least a vacation saver.

Canadathe walls need a good clean but other than that, go for it! Some people would say the area might not be the safest but we were out wandering around all the time and felt very safe. the police station and a fire station were right around the corner
it was a great place. large and roomy for the two of us, bed was comfortable. Lots of places to sit and relax. it was awesome to have a kitchen to cook in, if you can resist all the amazing restaurants

United States of AmericaThe owner/manager Mr Lloyd is an amazing host!! He makes sure you are comfortable from beginning to end of your booking, not just your stay. Everything you could need is in that house. It was so quiet and comfortable I forgot that I wasn’t home! The bedding is so luxurious and soft and the bed has that “Goldie Lox” just perfect comfort. The temperature of the home is perfect. The home was never warm, in this New Orleans summer heat, which says tons. My daughter and I actually had to adjust the AC because we were cold! Amazing!! There is an extra, very soft, comforter if you want to keep it cool and cozy up to the TV! We WILL be back!!
