I really do understand that everyone on the beach are recovering from the storm and that there are many more important things to worry about. But our microwave didn’t work and the silverware drawer wouldn’t stay on track. The elevator went down and I had to walk down and up 5 flights of stairs. Thankfully it was fixed before we had to check out the next morning.

It is right on the beach. Mary at the front desk was super busy but still handled everybody coming thru the door and on the phone very well.

Excess to the beach was washed away by the last hurricane, hopefully that will be fixed before my next visit.

Bed was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and was hot. I know the hot tub is good, but didn't get to use it this time.

The bed in the room was very uncomfortable. We ended up with a room facing the “garden” aka indoor pool and the weather was pretty chilly so most of the kids played in the indoor pool so it got a little loud. Kids will be kids but the atmosphere of this place seems to be more for families and older people. Once the kids cleared out we went into the jacuzzi but some drunk guy decided to flick a cigarette over the balcony which almost hit us but the maintenance man was more concerned about us being in the jacuzzi 5mins after 10.

We enjoyed being able to visit the beach. Room was clean. The property as a whole was fairly clean as well besides basic wear n’tear of an old building it was okay.

Floor in room was wet when I got there and there was condensation in the air the whole time. Motorcycle parking was supposed to be secure with our tickets checked every time I left. I was out if that garage at least 10 times and I only was challenged once! Would love a hot breakfast insteD if just donuts.

Slow elevator

The location is perfect for the ocean and other attractions. Grocery store conveniently located near by.

Our room was right by the elevator and people were pretty loud getting on and off it which made it tough to go to sleep.

Loved the view and access to the beach. The donuts were great and the rooms have been nicely updated since the last time we were there.

Finding out first room was difficult. The directions given weren't the clearest, and the room was on a bizarre half floor(in the garden area by the pool) when we were told the second floor... and our first room's size was TINY. The pictures had been a bit decieving... The handicap room size was great, but the AC wasn't up to cooling the entire thing(it was OLD)- they had a portable AC unit in the room(in addition to the built in one), but it didn't work at all.

We liked the handicap room they moved us to after we mentioned our concerns about the loud children in the room next to ours (we left ours at home for this anniversary trip). The handicap room was in its own little corner, with no neighbors and very little passing foot traffic. And the size of that room was amazing. The fresh made donuts for breakfast were great, and the location was good for almost anything you wanted to get to, including a Winn Dixie across the street if you forgot something... we didn't get to try the pool or extras, but they looked nice(if a bit crowded)

Too many guests disobey the No Smoking rules. Some guests were smoking on their balconies, in the outside and interior pools, in the elevators and even Marijuana. The management of Perry's needs to begin asking these guests to vacate the property to set an example. When I search for hotels and they are listed as a Non-Smoking resort, that means 100% of the property and 100% of the time!

Love the location in Daytona Beach Shores! Love the 3 pools and oceanfront rooms. Like the free homemade donuts every morning!
