To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaUpon arrival you walk into a small, very small area that was hot and had a smell to it. Opening the room I was again hit with a horrible smell. Luckily I had air freshener. I was at very end next to a dumpster. Didn't feel very safe especially since there was no extra lock on door! Again Didn't feel safe. Oh and bathroom had ants!
Booked this place site unseen. At first I was sure I made a mistake but the room was clean and nice.

United States of AmericaRoom was disgusting. Old food or drink splatters over just about every wall. Couch was stained and had cigarette holes in it even though I requested a non-smoking room. The smell in the room was so bad I had to spray the entire room upon arrival. Not many other guests stayed that night yet they put someone directly above me at 11pm. Rude. Light wouldn't turn off, had to unscrew the light bulb. Tv needed to be cleaned because the disgusting streaks made it hard to watch. Overall, disgusted and not impressed.

United States of AmericaThe Carpet had a offensive spell to it. Need to be clean. A Lizard was on the bathroom floor. The Television did have some good channels to watch and Air Conditioner did work good, but spell from the Carpet made it very uncomfortable. The room need to be Clean Completely with bleach, The Coffee Pot was nasty, counter top had not been wiped down Coffee spot was still on it. I brought my own towels because those was looking kinda dirty.

Did not see an ice machine or snacks to purchase in the vending machine and the sign said vending machines and ice so nowhere to be found.

United States of AmericaWhere to start. As soon as we walked in noticed the floors hadn’t been vacuumed and the air was not on. Air was important as this is in South Georgia and temp outside was in the mid 90’s. The air conditioner was damaged on the outside but did eventually cook the room although you couldn’t set it to run continuously at a set temp. (Important to my wife). There was only a dead bolt on the door and no do not disturb placard for the door. Also the in room refrigerator was turned down to barely cool so the first morning we were there our drinks for the day were not cold. We did not use the TV or microwave so cannot review those. I had stayed here about 20 years ago and it was very pleasant then but I will not return.
