Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Guy at the front counter was awesome. Very helpful and informative with a great attitude. In the middle of the night there was loud drama as would to be expected in this particular town in the middle of the night.

CanadaThe shower head was so low on the wall the I had to crouch to wash my hair, I'm 5'6". My 6'2" husband didn't even try.
The room was decorated with a French theme, Paris bedspreads, Monet prints. Very welcoming hosts. Whimsical dragons about the property. A quiet street. About 14 miles to the Tail of the Dragon on 219. They are motorcycle friendly. Would stay here again.

United States of America1. Room: While I listed a lot of pluses for the room, there were a couple minuses as well, that if rectified would dramatically increase the travel experience for people visiting the location. A. My main gripe with the room was the lack of blackout curtains or blinds. With my room being ground level and with a window facing an elementary school, the flashing lights of school buses would have been annoying if I was not already awake. The regular (non blackout) curtains did provide privacy so that wasn’t a concern, but as a light-sensitive sleeper, blackout curtains are usually an important part of my hotel experience. It wasn’t the biggest problem in a small town like Robbinsville, but if there was more traffic/light pollution, it would have been a bigger issue for me. B. I understand that people were probably shorter which this place was built, and I at 6’0 am a couple inches higher than the average US adult man, but the shower head was about neck-level, so I had to do a bit of a squat to wash my hair. Good workout though so not a big problem, and obviously not something I expect them to fix. Just a note. C. The coffee was lacking tbh. I’m by no means a “coffee snob” because I understand that they can’t be helped, but there is a mark that wasn’t quite met with the coffee here. The coffee was a regular drip machine, and filters/cups were provided (just a thought, not affecting my review, but I wonder if ceramic mugs instead of paper would add to the homey feel?) so in theory they were starting off well. What made me not even attempt to make coffee was the fact that the coffee provided was open, and in a ziplock bag. I’m all against waste so I appreciated that they were trying to not be wasteful, but coffee has a shelf life after opening. For food safety/quality/ease I would recommend getting a cheap, single serving off brand keurig-style machine, and some plain tim hortons or dunkin pods, and just leaving them in the room.
1. Location: The location was great - I was traveling for work and the property was very close to not only the event I needed to attend, but also a few blocks downhill from the local coffee shop, which made for nice exercise on a brisk fall morning. 2. Staff: The staff when I checked in were incredibly kind and informative, sharing helpful information about parking, nearby restaurants, and road closures. Check in was the easiest I have ever had at a hotel — they had my reservation info and key ready before I even arrived (and I arrived early without informing them, so bonus for having the room ready) 3. Parking: It was so easy, parking right outside where my entrance was. 4. Room: The room was well-equipped with almost everything you would expect of a property of that class, including a comfortable mattress (my room had two beds, but I only used one), TV with plenty of channel options, in-room heating and AC, and a full bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. While I brought my own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, I appreciated that they had theirs provided on a wall-mounted dispenser, which reduces waste and cost. I also appreciated that the room had a table with chairs, and a love seat, which both provided comfortable places to work. The wifi was okay. Not super fast but to be honest, in a town like Robbinsville that might be all they have. Worked for uploading/downloading video files so I’m putting it in the pluses. THE FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE were *such* a nice touch and something that people take for granted. As someone who travels for work, I HATE eating fast food all the time, so having a chance to bring some items with me and have the comfort of home cooked leftovers while on the road was so nice. VERY CLEAN ROOM. Sort of a side note, but I was in one of the “rooms” but I hope to return one day and stay in one of the cottages.

Rodger was absolutely divine of a host! He made great conversation with us and made us feel right at home during our stay. We stayed and talked with him between our excursions around the area and even had him give us recommendations here and there. After our second night my forgetful boyfriend forgot my pillow and blanket and being the absolute saint he is, Rodger put them in storage for us to retrieve on our stay come November.

United States of AmericaThe only bad thing is not really with the hotel, but with the town itself, everything closes way early so make sure to bring food or have dinner in time because by 10 everything seemed to be close, idk if it's different on the weekend, I was here on a Wednesday.
I liked the hunters Lodge look and feel of the rooms The bed, and bathroom could have been a bit bigger, I am a big guy 6'1 lol, but all in all the stay was a pleasant one, The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would def stay here again, very conveniently located specially if you are here doing the motorcycle tours. Dragon, Moonshiner, and the Cherahola skyway are all a short distance away.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is a bit out dated, but you can't beat the price and overall a good value.
It is a motorcycling area close to the tail of the dragon. Hotel has been around for as long as I can remember. Don't expect a 5 star resort. Yet the owners are friendly and keep the area clean. It is walking distance to most places in town.

The property was very clean and safe. The staff was terrific. Obviously I don’t know them very well and yet right off the bat they seemed to be a very kind person.
