Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

If I had to complain about something it would only be that we had 3 sets of towels for 4 people but we asked for more and were quickly given them
My sister and I took my elderly mother and cousin to Pigeon Forge as a Mother's Day gift. Pigeon River Inn had only a short walk from the door to the elevator and our room was the first one after we got off the elevator even though I had forgotten to ask for a close one. Mom loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ducks. It is so close to everything and we could feel free to go knowing that if Mom got tired we could get her back in a few minutes.

Non smoking facility. No smoking on balcony either. Have to go all the way to front of building.
Hotel staff very friendly and close to attractions but not right in middle of everything.

In the past times I’ve scheduled this with you, I was given a River view room with balcony. This time I had street view & no balcony. I missed it.
Breakfast bar is plentiful and well monitored by a staff member keeping it clean and well stocked

Not a bad thing but they did say the toilet was small and kinda short to sit on.
Friendly staff, updated and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast!! My mom and aunts said they would definitely stay there again and these were their comments for a nice birthday trip!

The Pigeon River Inn is our Go-To place to stay when we visit the Smokey Mountain Area. The staff is friendly and responsive, the location is great. The most important aspect to me is cleanliness. I can always count on this hotel to be clean and comfortable. We will be back.

The beds could have been more comfortable, and I'm not even sure the exhaust fan in the bathroom actually is one. Parking in the main lot was odd and packed. There is a small parking area and garage under the main lot, but we didn't know until the second night, as no one told us and it wasn't obvious to find the entrance to (which is to drive around the pool). We only even discovered it was there due to my son wanting to look over the edge of the main area. Someone wrote a derogatory note to us on our windshield while our car was parked in that lower level, which is not the hotel's fault, but still made us feel a little disheartened about parking there. Everyone we met was really sweet, so that was totally unexpected.
Our family of five (2 parents, 1 young adult, 1 teen, and 1 child) loved the location and size of the room. A lot of suites we've stayed in at other hotels have felt skinny and cramped, but the layout here was a lot better. We had plenty of room to get around and stretch out without being on top of each other. Staff was friendly and professional. It was very clean and well-kept. It was fairly easy to get in and out from the road, easy to find, with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. We were right near the road, but the noise level wasn't bad at all.

The beds were hard. There is only one elevator in a 5 story hotel which slows down travel unless you choose to take the stairs. The parking is very tight and with new vehicles it can be very difficult to park or get turned around to exit the parking lot. It can be difficult getting in and out of the property because there is no traffic light on the main road.
The best part of the Pigeon River Inn was the price and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
