Wish there was direct access to the river. And it could have been slightly cleaner. Most of the room was very clean but there was dust and actual stuff on the floor under the couch and bed that could have easily been picked up or vacuumed up that wasn't.

Location was amazing! The view amazing! Service fantastic. Loved that it was smaller and very quiet.

A bit far from town -- which for us was an advantage, for others maybe not.

We were greeted warmly, including free wine & beer delivered to the room while we brought in our luggage. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and well-provisioned. This is usually a pricey hotel; if you can get a deal, grab it with both hands.

Prime location, within walking distance of town and hiking paths. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value, great property.

This will be my new go to when I travel to Bend. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was wonderful! Turning on music, fireplace and setting out dog beds and treats made me feel especially welcome and pampered. The outside dog area was also pleasant, spacious, and safe.

The hotel was great. The room was great. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The lights in the bathroom were dim and the magnifying mirror was positioned for a very tall person of which I am not. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel and would highly recommend.

The only real complain was the amenities being a little dated. Specifically I mean the air and water. The shower took a long time to warm up and the HVAC system didn't really work for us (heat or AC). So we modulated the temperature of the room with opening/closing doors/windows which worked just fine. If it was in the middle of summer we just would've asked them to fix it and I am sure they would have.

It feels like a smaller boutique hotel and is in a quiet part of town right on the river but just a longer walk or short drive from everything (downtown, Old Mill, river). Down the streets from Deschutes Brewery and a 10 minute walk to the river and a park for kids. Nice big rooms with plenty of space for storage. The breakfast was continental but better than the average with ham and cheese baguettes and yogurt and compote, pastries, oatmeal, juices, fruit and bread...okay coffee. If you want a big breakfast the Original Pancake restaurant is directly across the street.

The crazy circles or round abouts you had to drive through to get to the hotel.

Great view overlooking the Deschutes River, in only a 20 room hotel. The outdoor patio area made it see like you were in a pine forest.

The Pine Ridge Inn is just as advertised. We loved the location, and the staff was welcoming, helpful, and professional. Especially enjoyed interactions with Caroline. The room on the river view side had a nice balcony - a great place to relax. The size of the room was very spacious, with beautiful decor and a nice ambiance. Furnishings are updated, and the room and property were clean and well tended. The bed was very comfortable, and the gas fireplace was wonderful. Linens and towels were high quality. Nothing could have been better. The welcome draft beer and hard cider is a great touch and a nice treat. Toiletries were great! Breakfast was not the usual fare - a nice change and locally provided fresh pastries. Enjoyed everything I had and felt healthy afterward. Everything was delicious, and the attendant was very kind and responsive to requests. We travel to Bend several times a year - so glad we found this gem. We like to stay in non-chain establishments, and this place really impressed us. Sorry we didn't find it sooner!

Heat would only go to 68 degrees, not any higher. We have the same thermostat at home, so I know the system. No workout facility.

The water pressure in the shower was on the weak side, and it took at least 5 minutes of running the water for the hot water to show up. Also, this may be trivial, but the placement of the shampoo/conditional/body soap on the tub wall seemed too high - this petite woman had a hard time pumping the containers while taking a shower. While I loved the room setup, it could use some updating (e.g., bed mattress didn't seem to fit the bed frame; the dark carpet and curtains made the room very drab) and better cleaning (e.g., behind and below the headboard were dust balls). I was not aware that room cleaning (including trash take out) was done only by request which was fine with me as there were enough towels provided for the duration of my stay, but this should be pointed out upon check-in, if not before.

The location, while not convenient without a car, was great, with a lovely river view from the patio. However, this may apply only to the river view side of the property. The room was spacious with a small living area with a gas fireplace. The bed was a bit soft but very comfortable. The continental breakfast was more than adequate (good Thumptown coffee, pastries, bagels, ham and cheese croissants, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, bananas and mandarins). The staff were welcoming and very helpful.
