To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaNot having a coffee maker in the room was actually a huge down grade for us. Going to the pool and having to pay for a chair after paying resort fees is ridiculous. We set our towels on a chair and we were asked to remove them and the pool was empty that day. I do believe if you are going to stay at a resort and pay an extra resort fee for using the pool then you should at least get a chair. Renting a cabana I understand, not chairs. Drinks at the pool were extremely overpriced. I cannot even fathom paying $80 for two drinks. If we had known we would not have ordered them.
The property was nicely located on the strip. Our room was very clean and had a great view.

United States of AmericaOnly complaint was the lack of drink service at the roulette table one afternoon. Was there over an hour before we saw a waitress. I went to the bar to pay full price for two drinks that cost us $20 roughly and told the bar tender. He made a phone call and a waitress showed up about 5 minutes after I returned to the table.
Really almost everything. Good location, easy walk to other casinos. Uber ride share area is well layed out. Room was clean and really liked the double sinks. No complaints except maybe the prices of things at the pool. Seems high. Our pool waitress did a good job.

United Kingdomas due to a have a mountain view but my view was off the roof. Room was a bit tired and could do with a bit of TLC
Stayed for 4 days and on the whole was fine. Room size was good - we had 2 Queens as opposed to a King as apparently this was all they had when we checked in at 9pm. We stayed on the 6th floor so was close to the pool which was convenient. Did the trick and more than suitable for what we needed.
