I could not find anything wrong here. I loved everything and plan to stay again.

I was impressed by the decor, the location, and the staff. Immediately, I was impressed with the concierge staff knowing me by name, writing my name on a cute envelope as a welcome, offering me water every day, greeting me entering and leaving, and being so kind. I had one go above and beyond to help me and that made my day. My room was gorgeous, and I loved the bathroom and kitchen. My accommodations were superb. The location was close to my conference at UCLA, and it was close to Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. I had breakfast across the street. There is a CVS and Target within walking distance too. There are so many restaurants nearby.

Very beautiful place. It gives you a small charming villa feel while being in a very good urbane locality in LA. The amenities in the room were excellent. The staff were super helpful. One of them also helped us with our baggage when we were leaving

Title: A Charming Boutique Gem Near UCLA - Five Stars! My two-day stay at Plaza La Reina Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I knew this boutique hotel was something special. The amenities provided were perfect for our needs, catering to every comfort we could have desired during our stay. Our suite was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed, making us feel right at home. The convenience of having a kitchenette in the room was a delightful touch, allowing us to prepare meals and snacks at our leisure. What truly set Plaza La Reina apart was the personalized service. I was pleasantly surprised and touched when the front desk staff remembered my pet's name - a small gesture that made a big impact. It's the little details like this that truly elevate a hotel stay. The location of Plaza La Reina Hotel couldn't have been more convenient, just minutes away from UCLA. Whether you're visiting the university or exploring the surrounding area, this hotel serves as the perfect home base.

This is CA parking! Garage is expensive, and public street parking has time limitations.

I travel from out of state for outpatient medical procedures at UCLA Medical Center, and Plaza La Reina is my only choice for lodging. I hope not to be back, so I don't mind writing this review - previously, I hoped to keep it this gem a secret. The staff is always courteous and accommodating, - they actually make a point to know your name as you come and go. The rooms are well furnished and clean, and there is a variety of room arrangements, each with a kitchenette. My family members and I can take advantage of the many local organic, healthy food, and sightseeing activities within walking distance.

For such a nice hotel, it is a shame that you do not have a choice of pillow types. Old people like us have neck issues and need flatter pillows than your very thick ones. One of us was able to get a slightly flatter pillow, but there were no others available. Bathroom door was much too noisy when closing, which would wake up the sleeping partner when the awake partner used the bathroom in the middle of the night. We asked for it to be looked at and were told that it couldn't happen on the weekend. So we could not close the bathroom door all the way at night.

Everything but the few things below - room was very nice, staff was great, breakfasts were good. Location excellent - only a 7 minute walk to and from the train station

A beautiful Spanish style building with roof terrace. Spacious room, very clean. Good cleaning! We get to choose how often we'd like the room cleaned. Location is great. We are here to move our daughter to UCLA. The hotel is perfectly close to the school and the stores such as Target and Trader Joe's. Many restaurants in walking distance. Extremely friendly staff. They greet warmly every time we pass the reception. They carry up my Amazon packages to my room. Air-con is set to perfect temperature. Water pressure on fifth-floor very good. Functional pantry with dishwasher and microwave oven. WIFI is very strong in the room. Note: not all rooms equipped with a washer, check before booking if that's important for your stay. I'd give a 10 instead of 9 if there were a washer in our room. But the staff let me borrow washer in a vacant apartment which is very kind.

One of the front desk employees had a serious attitude issue, she wouldn’t greet us, and when we afsked for a service it was as if we had insulted her - we avoided going by the front desk after that. Beds were on the soft side.

Great location, spacious and comfortable room, the general ambience felt homely. Absolutely gorgeous building.
