Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayThe rooftop was closed and the restaurant/breakfast bar was a bit underwhelming. But we got good tips for breakfast spots from a helpful staff member.
Very centrally located and in close proximity to public transit and ferry terminals. It’s placement in midtown made it a great hub to explore all of manhatten from!

United States of AmericaThere wasn’t anything I disliked about the property but think it is a little too expensive for the room size.
The lobby is quite chic. Love the aesthetics. There are several small, comfortable areas to relax and because rooms are so small that is a big plus. Easy to grab coffee and a small bite in the morning at the bar area.

TunisiaPrice: very expensive compared to the room size (twin beds). Twice, the water from the bathroom sink was dark brown and it was very scary No amenities in the room except for the hairdryer. No TV, no closet, no refrigirator. No space to store your luggage. Although i asked for room servixe daily, my room was cleaned only twice during my 5 nights stay.
Great location: 5 minutes to Times Square, close to Madame Tussauds and Broadway The hotel is clean and looks new. Upon check-out, the hotel allows to store bags in a secure room until we are ready to leave.

NetherlandsWould do hotel again, but would not recommend room 18-22: sloppy. Bed light was broke, mentioned it 2 times, no action. Ports to charge your phone didn’t work. Shower leaky. Low water pressure overall, water temperature unreliable. The hallways are dark en somewhat sinister. Rather expensive, but so is New York.
Location on 42the - heart of the action. Noise no problem, well isolated. Smooth running operation, clean. Quick elevators. Welcoming lobby & bar. Pods are pods - 11m2 is small - you basically live out of your suitcase - no cupboards. The bathroom-shower is relatively spacious- good choice. You live on your bed. Nice view.

FranceMy room was really small (the suitcase on the floor / clothes on the bed -> no cupboard) which left not much space in the corridor either and the only option was bunk beds - it was fun experience at my age though. And the upper bunk bed has its own TV - so even more fun. No housekeeping room refresh after the first night. Next time, I'll go again with a normal bed and more space overall.
Cool place, nice design, look & feel, easy to reach and very nice people working at the reception / concierge. It turned out to be a "cheaper" solution to a last minute business need to travel to the US than any other hotel. Nice bathroom, over-proportionally large compared to the room. I had a small desk to work on and Wifi worked well. It took me approx. +10 min or so to get to 5th avenue and a few min to get to the water. Location around has everything you need, from coffee to food.

CanadaNothing really everything was very good!
Our hotel was very close to where we wanted to be. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We didn’t need a big fancy hotel room because we weren’t in it very much. I have been recommending your hotel ever since our return.

NetherlandsQuite some mold in the shower compartment and a lot of dust stuck together at places clearly never cleaned. Everything in the room is small and very space-optimized, but if you are either very small or don't mind having the edge of the bed halfway your calves, that is not really an issue.
Perfect location and easy access. They offer to hold your bags after checkout in case you have a later flight for example and still want to walk around freely.

New ZealandPod is exactly as described! It's in a perfect location, and a great value for money. I spent 6 nights/5 days in New York and pod was perfect. I'd go explore all day, and then it was a very quick trip back to the room to crash. It's very small, as described, but not an issue when you're not gonna be in the room much. I would glady stay again and again!

United KingdomReceptionist was slightly impatient upon checking in and not very welcoming but other staff during the stay were helpful and friendly.
Excellent location, close to subway and Times Square (5 mins walk), great concierge called Vito who recommended restaurants nearby, great options for food nearby, 7/11 3 mins away, safe building with good security measures, cleaners did an excellent job everyday. Stayed in double pod and was happy with the room size, shower was spacious, not a lot of room to walk around but suitable for solo/couples who are out and about mostly, amazing view of Empire State Building (floor 20).

PeruThe hotel is well located especially if you are planning to visit the city. The area (Times Square is noisy) but the hotel windows are sound proof. The room I got was tiny but functional, the bed was comfortable, the desk was of good size. The bathroom has a great shower and is of good size (compared to other POD hotels in Manhattan). I enjoyed my stay.

PhilippinesThe hotel itself does not have breakfast but there are nearby options.
The location was great. It's close to everything and the subway is accessible. The hotel itself is safe with key activated lifts. The bed is comfortable, gives a good rest at the end of each day. The staff I met were lovely and accommodating. I had an issue with my air-conditioning and it was resolved quickly. I had communicated with their reservations team before arriving about a few requests, which were considered. Check in and check out procedures were absolutely hassle free. I highly recommend this place.

LebanonThe reason I gave yhe hotel a 7 is the reception staff: extremely rude, aggressive, unprofessional... they always have the I-hate-my-job look on their faces. I had an issue with one of my cards, so they booked the entire amount on my second card, noting they have already booked another amoun on my first card. I went back to make sure I won't be charged on both cards, both the employee and her manager were rude, and the manager was aggressive in his response I had to ask him to calm down!!! Apparently, it wasn't the card but their internet connection after I checked with the bank, plus I used the same mentioned card to pay at checkout. Whenever we approached any of the reception staff, they were all rude and unapproachable except for one lady.
The location of the hotel is very central and accessible, cleaning staff did an amazing job, excellent wifi, loved the space under the bed where we can put our luggage and save room space, huge window very nice view (22nd floor)
