Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Television, etc....I could sleep all of my stay. Nobody cares about sleep time after 10pm Socket and light didn't worked near my bed
Very nice and helpful staff. When I needed something, they helped to me :) Pretty good location between airport and downtown. Easy to get everywhere

Italydorms are not isolated from the kitchen in terms of sound. When someone eat, cook or do anything in the kitchen/common area, there is no separation and could be annoying for sleeping. 2 bathrooms for all the beds are definitely not enough.
really confortable beds, great position at Little Italy'district and 5 min walking to the tolley stop. Wifi works perfectly, clean and good general atmosphere.

United States of AmericaNeed safety rails on the top bunks, was woken by someone falling off their bunk. Need better communication on the parking spots available. Need better directions on finding the building, I drove around the area several time and couldn’t figure out what building it was. Walk around a while and finally called and had someone explain what to look for.
Good location, felt safe staying here. Beds were comfortable. Thank goodness they had air conditioning.

United States of AmericaThis Podshare has a no-draping of towels rule, which means you can't drape your towel to curtain your pod and give yourself more privacy. This is a bit unusual; I've stayed in podshares all over the world and most of them give you a privacy curtain or something similar. In Podshare San Diego, the no-draping rule is okay in some pods, which have sufficient privacy already, but not in others, which are very exposed. There might be good reasons for this rule—to foster openness or prevent sketchy behaviors—but there are two negative consequences: 1) Some pods have extremely poor sleep hygiene, with light leaking in, air blowing in from the air conditioner, or people passing by, which is a nightmare for humans who have difficulty sleeping, and 2) Because we can't drape our towels, they never dry out.
I had a great time at the Podshare thanks entirely to Erica, who does ALL the work to keep that place running, from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to sleep. She takes extremely good care of the guests, keeps the place clean and functioning, and fosters a fun community there. The location in Little Italy is fantastic, can't be beat, with lively streets and great food and activities just steps away.

United States of AmericaThe kitchen was a mess and overall the hostel wasn’t really clean. It also didn’t have any house rules which let people stay up loudly until 3am or so.
The pods are actually quite comfortable and I’d say they work great as living space. Also, it was by far the cheapest place to find Downtown.

United States of AmericaIf there is noise in common area, everyone will hear. Some places to sleep are too exposed to every one sitting in the common area. Reception not 24/7, only like from 10AM
Very unusual hostel: there is one large common room. Guests sleep like in the pods. Beautiful design. Concrete walls may seem creepy but it went okay. Very friendly & helpful staff.

United States of AmericaI had requested a towel, but due to me coming in late and leaving early every day, I was unable to follow through with it and never got one. Thankfully I had a small one of my own. They were apologetic and made sure I would not be charged for one. The common area did get dirty quickly but it wasn't a problem really.
The staff was really helpful! My flights got rearranged and I ended up getting in after-hours. They made sure I knew exactly what to expect and exactly how to enter the location since it would be locked. The location itself, is a really cool layout. It's got everything you need and the people who stay there are really friendly! The beds provide a certain level of privacy but it's pretty open otherwise. Mine was very comfortable but the pillows left something to be desired. There was ample storage as well. The bathroom was clean enough, there are quite a few people sharing it so it's clean all things considered. I felt save and comfortable!

United States of AmericaThis hostel didn't have any parking available (I believe as mentioned in their description). Which the parking was street parking only & very limited. Especially since most parking on the streets had paid meter parking available only. There were only two restrooms available onsite at this hostel, which caused for sometimes a long waiting line. Make sure to bring yourself a bath towel, because this hostel charges $5 to use one (unless u follow them on IG, then its free). The sleeping area that I slept in had an open ceiling to the other common areas. Which was a bit noisy at times. After 10 pm, the lights were out & the common area was closed for quietness for others. These sleeping pods weren't private from others. Meaning that there wasn't a curtain to enclose yourself from others as well.
The customer service was polite & helpful. The mattress that I slept on was comfortable as well. The location was within the Little Italy area, which was close to the 5 freeway entry/exit. As well as the location was close to lots of restaurants, less then two miles from the oceanfront, & some nightlife activities. The hostel did have lockers to store your personal items, but they seemed limited at the time I had visited.

FinlandFloor was dirty. If hostel doesn't have a clean floor and you need to keep your shoes on while you go to the bathroom, it's not good. Also parking space and towels cost extra. Place was hard to find and we dro ve at least 5 times past it.
I liked staff and other travelers and athmosphere was nice. There was a big tv and kitchen. Wifi was working. Beds were okay, but my pag was too big to fit on locker.
