Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOnly saw one non-Tesla EV charging station next to a bank of Tesla-only stations. The bathroom exhaust fan was too loud.
Great for families with kids - especially all the pools. Cool location for resort (old rock quarry w mountain views and hiking trail acess). Liked the overall look/ feel of buildings and 'village' set up. Good enforcement of quiet hours. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfie beds. Lots of steps/ good exercise...but also accommodations seemed available.

United States of AmericaI loved the view and the amenities. But being as expensive as it was and paying for a king suite, the parking should be designated. Multiple times I had to park at the bottom of the hotel parking and walk a long ways uphill to get to my room.

United States of AmericaIt was a last minute booking, me and my girlfriend have Rheumatoid Arthritis and we were most looking forward to the hot tub. The hot tub in the family pool was luke warm, and then we had gone to the adult pool and it the tub was also luke warm. We let the staff know and they were apologetic but we were very disappointed as this was one of the main reasons for staying here. For about $300.00 we would have expected the hot tubs to be hot.
The staff was amazing, the room was very clean. Love the wood fired pizza delivered to your room, and it is delivered very quickly. I've stayed at this property 5 times now and will stay again but..

United States of AmericaThe price of the rooms are very overpriced. You're definitely paying for the scenery more than anything. The suite tax per day even on the day you're checking out is ridiculous.
Beautiful property, nice comfortable and clean rooms and friendly staff. It was a really great stay. Amazing scenery.

United States of AmericaThey refused to honor my military discount although they said they would over the phone. But upon arriving and presenting my proof of service, they said they wouldn’t honor my military pricing because I had to book under the “military booking link” which wasn’t provided to me prior.

United States of AmericaThis time the pool service was a bit slow on day one only. Our server was very sweet, but appeared to possibly be his first day. Food at the pool was not as good as before.
We have have stayed at Tapitio many times in the past. It makes for a great staycation, especially if you have kids. They have many pools to choose from including a water slide. They have a shuttle service to take you to and from the pool or restaurants with some amazing drivers.

United States of AmericaThe property is older, and some portions of it reflect this. The pool outside of building 16 had a lot of loose gravel which was unpleasant to walk over, and the lack of cool decking made it even more uncomfortable. There was plaster missing from some portions of the top of buildings which didn't seem to be a hazard, just unsightly. Also, at the same pool described above, I accidentally found an abandoned birds nest complete with a dead baby bird and unhatched egg - likely abandoned due to a guest touching it. But with more regular cleaning and maintenance of the area, I probably wouldn't have stumbled across this. The adult pool is kind of basic, and the bar/cantina doesn’t open up until about 2 hrs after the pool does, so the attention to detail for non-families is kind of lacking.
The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Everyone was kind and genuinely wanted to make the best experience possible for guests. Special shout out to Stacy (bartender), Paul (waitstaff), and Allen (transportation) for going above and beyond as I was a solo traveler. They each remembered (and used) my name, my preferences, and made me feel legitimately looked after.
