To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe floors were dirty. The stairs were exceptionally dirty. we’re told last occupants had a party which really wasn’t evident. Every stair in the stairwell was filthy. This wasn’t party dirt this was dead bugs, dust, cobweb etc. dirt. I did wipe 3 steps with individual paper towels to show the extent of the dirt on each step. This was an accumulation over time. A stiffer on the floors and each stair tread as the last step in the cleaning process every time would have eliminated the floor issues. The stairs were down right gross. 🤢 We did suggest to the agency when we sent photos of steps that the bedrooms need a few extra pieces of furniture besides only the bed. A folding luggage stand to place luggage on so you don’t have to put it on the floor for your stay and a small bedside table to lay cell phone and other incidentals on so once again these things didn’t need to be put on floor each night.

United States of AmericaIt wasn't clean.I can provide lots of pictures. Neighborhood not great. People arguing in little parking lot on side throughout night. Not really near OSU, 8 min drive. Food left in refrigerator from someone. Towels very basic thin. Fee for cleaning despite not being clean. Even hard surfaces werent wiped down, see shower picture, making me really think about soft surfaces. Fee for electric. 81 per night became 181.
Convention for my situation with 2 separate bedrooms.
