There really wasn't breakfast, some Walmart oatmeal, They were very short staff the day we got there, Had to wait for room to be cleaned. After room was clean, room was nice.

They Room was big. Staff was friendly, Was a short drive to Carlsbad Caverns. Bed was very comfortable. Did go to McDonalds next door, for one meal.

Only double beds and mattresses too soft. Microwave had no turntable. Breakfast was way below-par (no milk, no boiling water, no fruit, jars of jam for everyone to share from, one type of cereal (instant porridge), no plates, no bread, and by 8:30am only one yoghurt, one pastry, muesli bars, and microwave burritos and corn-dogs was left).

Beautifully renovated, lovely and clean, great shower (hot water and good pressure).

We never got a keycard for our room. The gentleman who helped us was beyond accommodating inspite of the fact that one of the staff took home the master key which inhibited them from getting a keycard for our room during the full duration of our stay. I personally feel that is highly irresponsible of the staff and feel someone should have met the team member who was irresponsible to ensure customers were taken care of better. I'm sure we arent the only ones who had this issue. In addition, there is a sign in the bathroom that said if you forgot any toiletries to come to the front desk and they would gladly help at not cost but when my husband went to the office and asked for toothpaste and a comb, the front desk attendant said she didn't have anything like that and like they didn't follow through with their offer. Seems the sign is to just make them look good. Parking is very cramped and at one point we had to move our truck because someone parked way too close to it.

I liked this motel. I was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although continental breakfast was only frozen foods to microwave, yogart, oatmeal and poptarts, I was pleasantly surprised that they had a good amount of it in spite of the fact that they were full and seemed to have full timers living there. The younger man who is at the front desk was beyond helpful and friendly. He was far friendlier than most of the rest of the staff though to clarify no one was rude. The others were mostly just quiet and smiled.

My room had not been cleaned. Sheets were bundled up on the bed and left! Trash not emptied. Probably not vacuumed. BUT the young manager did a good job of cleaning it out so I could stay on the ground level. 😄

No food at Breakfast, which was included in our rate. Lady told us no one hardly ever comes to breakfast, but that am, they did. She had to send someone to Walmart for food and she wasn't sure how long it would be before they got back.

I think the shower doors were put in backwards? You had to physically get in the shower to turn the shower on, which meant you had wound up getting sprayed with cold water while trying to get it started.

Recently updated, modern esthetic, very convenient location with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. We slept great, and the room was a nice, cool respite from the heat.

Breakfast was Poptarts or Granola bars. Not much to offer but I hadn't had Poptarts in ages so it really was a treat! LOL!

This was quite a nice surprise of a place to stay. Very well kept and clean. Seemed pretty new. Huge bathroom! Very comfortable bed. Easy access to room and parking. Best part....FREE laundry!!! We were able to wash our clothes for free! Staff was very friendly. Great place to stay! I'd highly recommend!

The complimentary breakfast was lacking; there were no juices or waters to drink, only coffee. Thus, kids are out of luck unless they want to purchase soda or water. At least the food items were packaged, so we had assurance they were clean. The cups in our room were dirty...yuck! We just threw them in the trash and used our own cups from the car.

Easy access location. Friendly staff. Nice amenities, including microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Quick hot water in shower. Comfy bed and pillows.

The check in process took over 45 minutes. I don’t blame the staff because you could tell they were understaffed and struggling to get things done. The first room we got was already occupied and had to wait for another room. The next room we received was finishing up being cleaned.

I liked that the rooms looked recently renovated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We went for breakfast at 7.30am and there was nothing left to eat. They had given much of the food to some lorry drivers who had left at 6am. We were offered a chocolate granola style bar (very unhealthy) and some dried biscuits with dessicated meat in a plastic wrapper. There was nothing else. It would have been better to advertise the hotel with no breakfast as we felt we had paid for breakfast and received nothing. The staff told us that they had put out all the food they were allowed to put out for the day - so like an airline, once they had run out, they couldn't provide extra. Only difference is the hotel is not 8 miles high so this was an awful excuse. This was without a doubt one of the worst breakfasts we have ever had on our many travels around the US.

We booked this hotel partly because it said online that there was a bathtub-- there wasn't. "Free breakfast" was one of the worst I've ever seen in a hotel; the juice machine was broken, and all they had set out was literally a few packets of oatmeal, some coffee and one single breakfast corndog. No cereal, fruit, nondairy coffee creamers, or any of the usual basics. This hotel is wildly overpriced for what it is.

Staff, especially check-in staff, was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Location was decent (close to downtown) and room had nice amenities like coffee maker, fridge, microwave, etc.
