Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThere was no food at all at the hotel. Need to solve this as soon as possible.

SwitzerlandThis beautiful historic hotel is located on the bay with beautiful sunrise view and great walks on the long jetty. A 15 min stroll takes you to the center of Provincetown.

United States of AmericaThe carpet really needs to be replaced. The rooms were clean but in the back section where we were the room carpet and the hallway was old and musty. The room carpet was really bad.
Great location, nice views even if you don’t have a water facing room and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the day. They left us a nice bottle of champagne for our anniversary which was amazing! There was a conference there that never got in our way as the place is nicely spread out.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was so small. The Toilet was basically touching the wall, kinda hard to sit on the seat. Toilet constantly ran, and water leaked onto the floor from the shower cause the shower curtain sucked and did not do it's job. Sink is small as you know what as well. Horrible bathroom design!
The beds were really comfy and the TV was a nice size.

United KingdomThis is a beautiful old hotel. It's not modern and therefore quite quirky. Embrace the difference and you will enjoy your stay.
Quirky historic hotel beautiful panelling in the hallways. I was lucky enough to have a room in the old part of the hotel which is lovely to stay in.

United KingdomThe swimming pool in late September was miserable, the seagulls were using the pool and their poo was on the floor there. There was no nice lounge or public area where I could sit end enjoy the sea view which I expect in a hotel next to the beach.
The location at the end of the peninsula is magical, though it’s a 25 minute (and very pretty) walk to the centre of ProvinceTown. It has old world charm, the quality of the food is good, the murals on the walls made the long corridors more enjoyable. Wonderful sea views from many of the rooms. Popular with conferences. Nice staff.

Switzerland- Bars should be installed in the showers to facioitate a safe entering and exiting - A safe in the room would be appreciated - Sparkling water should be added to the offering - The dinner portions are too big: the fries should be served in two servings so that they can be enjoyed hot - The presentation on booking should mention that beach walks cannot be started from the hotel

United Kingdomtaxis in Ptown are outrageously expensive, and hotel is a fair walk from the centre if youre doing it twice a day. Say Pool opens at 11, they then manage to get the towels out there for about 11.45. then they only bring enough for about 10 people, and then you wait another hour or so. need a better system for this.
Pool was fun. Breakfast was pretty good.
