Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

First when I see the building oh my God I was so scared I go in checking in was the problem I have four rooms. They just have one room ready to check in 3:15 the second room was ready at 4 o’clock. The 3 room was ready at 4:30 the four room was ready at 5:15 is when they let me check in they don’t have rooms ready to check in at 3 o’clock, after that, the room was dirty and my room the housekeeping doesn’t clean like they post to clean the carpet very dirty ….It was hair and the shower it was hair in the sink like somebody shave and they didn’t clean the hair was there . The area is very nice . but the building is very old. They need to work on the building.
The remodel is excellent. Luckily I have one of the rooms are already new !!

The rooms have nothing in them. What good is a stove if you don’t have any pots pans, plates spoon, forks or cups in the room. I don’t get that part. Maybe they need to add that to the list of things to add

It is an old hotel, but the staff members maintain the hotel clean and organized.
Check-in was smooth. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds, pillows and clean rooms. Nice hot showers. Super close to the beach. It works fine for our 2 nights stay on Myrtle Beach, March/2024.

Ppl roaming the parking lots all hours of the night,the elevator wasn't up to par etc

Its very dated. Needs some upgrades. Need to fix the door to the stairs on the top floor "Penthouse". The air was blowing so hard because that door was open and could not close. The latch is broken. Kept blowing our room door so hard It sounded like it was going to blow the room door down. we had to put a chair behind the door. We were finally able to keep the door to the stairwell shut by putting a towel in between the door. They need to explain that Ocean front for them means you are on the highest floor (Penthouse) so you can see the Ocean but it is across the street.
The penthouse was ok. I like having the two rooms and both equipped with sliding doors. to go out on the balcony.

The hotel needs to be updated a lot. Wallpaper peeling ,the refrigerator bottom was very hard to open.
Location was good although not on ocean front we still had an ocean view. Room was clean and smelled nice and loved the balcony.

Could use a really good deep clean everywhere, a new coat of paint on things wouldn’t hurt either, the pool needs to be better maintained and cleaned. There was little to no chlorine, my entire family got sick from the swimming pool. We spent nearly our entire trip swimming in the pool and came home with various virus. I also requested a room facing the ocean, there was more than enough occupancy, I was placed in a room with a direct blocking view of the ocean.

The bathroom did not have a shower curtain in it. I reported it to the front desk and they said they would get up there to put one up. Never happened.

The elevator smelt like cigarettes and the halls smelt moldy. And my first room I was assigned to for early check in wasn’t even clean. Had syringes on the floor.

The elevator is slow and the building could use a make over.
I love the location of the property and the pool. I also loved the beach access across the street. Staff were friendly.
