I felt I was gouged with the price becase of the eclpse in the area. rates were at least 30% higher than normal. Something I will remember when choosing a property in the future.

You can hear every person walk down the hall & every door slam. Oddly enough, we didn't hear any of our neighbors in their rooms though, so that was nice!

The price for our night was very decent! We needed a room last minute & this hotel was near where we were, so I read some reviews & decided to book it. I was a little concerned since it's a best western...they've seemed to go downhill in the last decade or so, but we were VERY decently surprised! Our bed was so comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was in good order & the breakfast was tasty. The staff was friendly too. On our drive to the hotel, we did go through a questionable area, so I started questioning our choice, but when we arrived, it was out of the ghetto & well lit. There were cameras all over the building too, so that was nice. (Whether they worked or not, I don't know, but it was a comforting thought!)

The room & building are just a little out dated & it wasn’t horrible but just kind of mediocre & could use some deep cleaning & a little face lift. But for the price it’s a good medium for getting what you pay for. I also could hear other people in the hall so it’s not the quietest but nothing a little tv couldn’t fix.

It is right off a main highway & easy to get to. The staff was friendly & helpful. And the breakfast was awesome. Nothing too fancy but they had plenty of options. I also liked that there were cameras all around the building, it made me feel safer.

Apparently popular with truckers, it was a bit difficult to find the entrance because of the semis parked along the road in front of the hotel. I probably wouldn’t stay here again by myself because I was approached by two different people as I was loading up to leave - one wanted me to let him in because he forgot his key (sorry, no), then he wanted a cigarette, then a light for the cigar in his pocket. Thankfully one of the maintenance men intervened and I was able to go back inside through a different door. The other person was inside my hallway, wanted cigarettes, then money for breakfast; when I pointed out there was a nice spread in the lobby she said she was tired of that and wanted to go out. I literally had to slam the door to my room in her face because she kept getting closer and closer, making me extremely uncomfortable. Probably harmless but still unsettling.

My room was spotless, the bed & pillows were comfortable, and the breakfast choices were amazing. Keith was at the front desk when I checked in, and he is a treasure - so friendly and welcoming, making sure I knew where everything was and that I felt safe. I can’t say enough good things about him.

It was probably a supply problem, but they had no lids for their coffee cups. this was a very minor problem in the whole scheme of things.

I liked the location. There were several fast food places and gas stations close. The breakfast was good.

More housekeeping. Rooms are cleaned very well once a week but very little housekeeping the rest of the week. Guests had thrown towels out into the hall and they laid there for 3 days. The stairwells needed vacuumed badly. Sadly, guests did not pick up animal droppings around the hotel parking lot grassy areas amd hotel employees do not clean it up. The "house cat" that guards the front door was very stressful for us and our dog. Because of that cat we won't be back.

The accommodations were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not good. The hot foods were inedible and cereals were the cheapest kind.

18 wheelers parked along the road making it harder to see to exit and enter last night. The entrance into the hall slopes up and is rough. I tripped on it. Smelled marijuana near the exit door.
