Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hair dryer didnt work. Phone didnt work. Ghetto atmosphere. Soda machines had no soda. Breakfast buffet was waffles or cold cereal. Lady began taking buffet down at 920, when i was trying to make my waffles. I asked her to wait till i was done. So she stood w her hands on her hips watching me till i left. The bathtub didnt hold water.

There was mold on all the lamp shades, mold on the inside of our ice bucket, lipstick on the side of the phone, nothing had been wiped off

non smoking hotel, hallway reeked of weed. I don’t care except that I thought it would get into my room and I’d be charged. it was very overwhelming. breakfast was meh. stains of some sort dripping down under sink. base of toilet dirty.

Both Booking.com and the hotel property did not have my reservation on their computer. I had a confirmation number since the day I made the reservations back in July of 2 rooms double beds total $369, great price and all, the stay was taking place on September 24-26 to visit my son for family weekend at SIU. I show up at the Quality Inn on September 24, 2021 and none of the staff members could find my reservation. They kept asking me for my confirmation number I had to provide it like 4-5 times to multiple staff members. And still could not find. The manager who also owns the Best Western next door to the Quality Inn was able to find the amount of rooms we needed, which I do appreciate it but somehow the best price they could do to accommodate us still cost me an extra $170 out of pocket, by this time I was exhausted my family had been waiting in their cars for about an hour and a half until everything was situated. On day 2 the free breakfast was not available. But I didn’t complain and just took my family to a restaurant to have breakfast, but my family and I did notice that there were a lot of very upset guest for that particular matter. I will be personally booking my stay NOT VIA Booking.com but with the actual property itself. And definitely 15 miles farther away from my sons’ school.

The pool wasn't up and running. Disappointing!! My daughter and I were really looking forward to the pool! 😫 If it would have been running, we would have booked another week. Just saying.
Breakfast was prepackaged. Breakfast was fine. We were on the first floor which was nice. The bed was super comfy!!

Hole in bathroom wall had been filled with a wad of toilet paper. Tv didn’t work because it was raining outside. Vending machines in the lobby would only take change and the front desk had no change. Cheap place if you just need to crash for the night but don’t expect anything great.

There pool and workout room permanently closed. The rooms smell. Foundation cracks in the walls. Burns in the sheets. Even the elevator is out of date. Place should be closed down immediately for safety. It’s falling apart.

We tried to book another night the next morning and they uped the price over $20 more. We were there to say final goodbyes to a loved one before he passed and had to leave a day early.The morning guy was not customer service friendly. He came across very rude. The pillows were too small. They were like half pillows. ⁸
