Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing really to complain about. The only thing I would mention is that our first room wasn't made up but staff was very helpful and gave us a new room right away.
Our 2nd room we received after being sent accidentally to a room that wasn't made up yet was wonderful. Beds were so comfortable, room was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it was in area that had has restaurants around. This is a great place to stay when you are on a tight budget.

We received an upgrade to a jacuzzi room for free, but the jacuzzi wasn't functioning. The parking is not fantastic when they are busy.
We automatically got an upgrade because they needed our room, which was a nice surprise. The location was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again when I make this trip.

I did not like that the mattresses had pads on them and not actual bedbug covers. There was hair from the previous guest on the pillowcase. There were white "stains" on most sitting area furniture. It felt very dirty.
I liked the hot breakfast and the options they had. They morning staff were very friendly.

The bathroom. The bathtub spout moved in the wall. The control to operate the shower wasn’t working properly. As soon as you turned on the water a gush of water poured from the shower head soaking my hair! My effort to change the water from shower to tub exposed the fact that the faucet moved in & out of the wall! I gave up.. it was one night and I was heading to another hotel.

Had to change rooms due to the Jacuzzi tub not working. The next room wasn't as clean as the 1st room. Had to get cleaning supplies from the front desk to clean out the Jacuzzi tub.

The 3 pillows are so big and bulky, hubby woke with a neck ache. Bathroom door cracked and peeling. The extra security device on the door was missing.
Coffee is always available at the reception area. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Large screen T.V, in room.

Bathroom floor was dirty. Breakfast was out of several things and there was no one nearby to refill. I just gave up and went to Cracker Barrel (which is across the street).
The room was comfortable and pretty nice. Good location.

The smell in our room. It had an old musty smell.
For the most part the Hotel was nice, our room did smell. I think they are in the process of renovating, but haven’t got to the rooms. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great!

The cleanliness of the hotel wasn't the best. For instance, you could tell that behind the couch hadn't been cleaned in some time. The hotel also shows quite a bit of age. To be honest, I felt like the hotel's $/night was a bit high.
The location is fantastic. There is a bar within walking distance and a Waffle House that couldn't be much closer. A Cracker Barrel diagonal from the hotel as well. We were in town to go to the Kentucky Horse Barn (highly suggest) and this hotel is only about 10 miles away or so.

Only complaint is that the air conditioning in our room was off when we arrived, and it never got our room cooled off. We slept hot all night.
