We booked because property has hotel. The pool was empty and being repaired. We were not made aware of this ahead of time. The hallway smelled terrible. Luckily it did not follow into our room. The bathroom was in desperate need of upgrades and showerhead needs repaired

The room needs a lot of maintenance, in addition to the very high humidity which gives a feeling of discomfort and difficulty sleeping, and finally the smell. As soon as you enter the corridor of the rooms, you start to smell a strange smell.

Wifi didn't work, I never could connect, telephone in room didn't work so I couldn't request a wake up call and I couldn't call the operator and tell her wifi wasn't working. I called office on my cell phone and she had no clue which wifi was the wifi for the hotel. The one she mentioned didn't show up as an option I could connect to on my phone.

The property was drab and uninviting. The room was bad. Dead roach behind the toilet. Patio door unsecured when we arrived. Carpet so filthy that our feet and socks were black. Wife waited 20 minutes at front desk only to have the desk clerk come out of the mens restroom, with a girl. Then we were told they would refund one night. Still waiting!

Wifi is listed as available and free. We've always had it here before. Apparently the new owner doesn't think it is a necessity so he hasn't paid the bill. (For at least 3 months!) There is no wifi. If you ask the morning staff they'll lie about it. Housekeeping was at it's worst. They kept ignoring our trash, taking our dirty towels but not giving us new ones, we had to go ask the front desk for toilet paper because we ran out and house keeping didn't fill it.

Close to my mom's house, our regular place to stay because of that. The evening front desk lady is always awesome.

The ice machine on our floor was not there, there is no elevator, so we had to take the stairs with an autistic 6 year old to get ice. The juice machine was broken so NOTHING was available to drink in the morning unless you drink coffee. The wi-fi and phones were out. The room was VERY hot. On my last day, someone knocked on the door at approximately 10:30 and IMMEDIATELY opened the door to ask if I was checking out. He didn't even give me a chance to hide if I was changing and I felt that was pretty unprofessional.

The staff was very friendly and available.

Our balcony door did not close, nor did it lock. There was no phone. The main door flip lock did not engage for added feeling of security.

The room met our basic needs- shower and beds. The location was easy to find and it was quiet. The pool area looked amazing, but we did not get to enjoy it.

There were quite a few things that were not ok in this hotel. The carpet was beyond gross. if you stood in one spot for too long you would literally get stuck in the carpet. I was also pretty grossed out by all the walls and doors. Everything was very worn down and broken. There is rust in the restrooms, and plastic panels coming off of wood around the fridge. This Hotel needs a total makeover. I was also upset with the breakfast that was offered.

The only thing that I can say that was good was the pool. The water was clean and there was not really anyone in it ever. I also liked the young lady at the front desk. She made sure that she fulfilled my needs with the room.

The free WiFi was not all too good. The floors in the room and hallways throughout just seemed like it wasn't clean as it could've been. It was like it was almost an air of humidity, but like on the floor (not sticky, but like a layer of... IDK)

It was a convenient location to my work for the trip.
