The guy at the front creeped me out when he studied my ID for a good minute.. not once but twice. Being a woman there by myself did not make me feel comfortable from the get go. I can handle my own, but at least make your guests feel welcomed. There’s obviously no quiet time here, which they should care about. People were outside at 4am talking/partying outside. I recommend asking for water side room bc the birds or maybe cicadas were up and at it in the woods behind my room.

the view and the town was nice. the property is showing it’s age, the floors were dirty dirty. the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. so I have very mix feelings. I feel the age and property was over priced. this is beautiful place for the fisherman.

ONE: Check-out time is a contract and should be respected. I do not think Housekeeping should knock on my door 40 minutes before check-out time and say, "I thought you had left." They should not seek knowledge of one's departure until check-out time has arrived. TWO: Going against the contract by charging customers outside the agreed-upon rate is a no-no. The tendency to nickel and dime customers make for poor customer goodwill and in the long run, will send customers to look elsewhere. When I registered, there were no rooms on the lower level. I wrote in a special request note asking that if a lower-level room should become available before our arrival, one should be held for us. When we arrived, rooms on the lower level had become available. But, we were charged a higher room rate because, as was explained, we had reserved a room on the upper level, and moving us to a lower-level room constituted a change in our reservation. I feel very bitter about this incident and, therefore, may use the hotel across the road during my next visit to Clarksville.

I've been going to Clarksville for over 20 years and stayed at Lakeside. The updates to the now Quality Inn Lakeside Hotel are great. I have no complaints there. The view of the lake is lovely. The management could focus on keeping the patio furniture clean because one should not have to clean the table and chairs before sitting to enjoy the view.

Next door guest loud noise in the early morning hours 3-4am also every time they smoke outside the our bedroom door all that smoke smell came in the room.

the lobby/ breakfast are was very nice. The day we got there the sweet receptionist can’t remember her name at the moment provided us with clean items for us to remake our bed.

Pillows were too soft, matrees was smaller then the metal frame would sometimes hit my legs on it getting in or out-of the bed.

The balconies on the lakeside had just open bars between each one- it made a person feel wierd walking out there w/people staring at you w/in a few feet of you.(other folks went inside so I think they felt wierd too not having any privacy. Some kind of barrier, even above the floor a little between room balconies would feel better. The pool was nice with nice chairs - the ladders going down into the pool were w/o a third rung/step which made it almost impossible for a short person as myself to go down,& coming up was impossible!(my husband held me as I struggled to get a foothold up so very high.) The tiles along the inside of pool were dirty& need a good scrub& cleaning.But the pool was pretty and only needs some little work☺️

We liked the lake view& room was nice. You can see that owners are doing new things to their motel, pretty pretty lobby and furnishings. Cool decor. It was a very nice stay& thank you to the hosts.☺️

Its an old place with character. If you want new you will have to keep driving a long way.

Location great. Price was reasonable too. Not many choices in the area and this was fine. Older building complex that is a little rough around the edges but with both the lobby and room recently painted, with new bedding and flooring. Bathroom was clean and new as well.

The breakfast bar could have been better. We expected the continental breakfast to have some fresh fruit or a small hot bar for breakfast meat and eggs. Good thing McDonalds is across the street. There are not very many restaurant in town so you don't have many options on dining.

Nice waterfront location. Convenient to our friends house when we visit.

walking up the flight of steps and small breakfast options and bed was not very comfortable

close to the lake and having the balcony to sit on and room was visually pleasing
