To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe sink and tub was slow draining the TV did not turn on command had to stand and point the remote at the back of the TV to receive the signal to change channel but not as bad as some of the others I have visited in that area. And the door did not have the lock for the top slide for added protection.

United States of AmericaFirst steps into the building was a pile of dog droppings, into a nasty, sweaty smelling hallway, with wet carpet. The phone didn't work, only half the lights came on, the TV screen was busted, and the remote didn't work anyway. The tub held water and didn't look survivable. No refund. Same price as the holiday Inn down the street.

United States of AmericaI did not like the cleanliness the whole hotel was dirty and musky smelling. There where stains in the bathtub and on the walls there where mold stains all in the room the pillows has stains on them from dirt the floors were dirty and sticky and the bed had bed bugs. I would not sleep under the covers so I slept on top of the bed and still got bit up. I woke up in the middle of the night with a bug crawling on my pillow.

United States of AmericaI was actually scared to death Cussing and load yelling gun shots all night long. I think most people life there. Also ask for 100 dollar deposit. Room smelled of liquor. Run was in terrible need for an update the whole place needs torn down and built back to code.
