Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

In need of lots of updates. Toilet didn’t flush well. Sink was very slow to drain. No soap in room for guests.

The property is an older property. The curtains for the window would not stay closed with the AC on.
The location is good. There is a Mexican restaurant that shares the parking area. There is a Subway across the street. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

The computers were not working at check in. The TV used Roku, which wasn't working. Breakfast was a waffle, but no milk was available.
The hotel and room were clean.

Walls were paper thin could hear every word nextdoor. They were smoking pot nextdoor so strong it was in our room. Bathroom vent had no cover on it and it was dirty.

Our beds really didn’t look like they had fresh sheets. The bedspreads had cigarettes holes and there were 2 towels that had fresh dried food on them. We asked for more towels, received them so all was well.
Bed was comfy. TV reception great. Staff awesome. Ordered nonsmoking room. Wasn’t any except a smoking room. Because I am handicapped had to have 1st floor. Front Desk Staff Rainbow was has very helpful because of my disability. The one room on 1st floor was her last resort room. I was very grateful that she kept trying to accommodate me. Thanks Rainbow. The clean staff was also accommodating.

Definitely needs a face lift, furniture is showing wear, AC in bed room is very loud and doesn’t cool very well
It has 2 separate rooms kitchen and sofa sleeper. Did have people above is kids, they where running a round and jumping. We called the front desk after a few hours and they did take care of it. Found the staff we did talk to very frustrating

Bathroom tight when closing door. A/C hard to adjust for comfort. Either too warm or too cold. .Needed additional towels.

Plain and simple NASTY !!!!! Floors were disgusting! . Dried blood on bathroom door facing in obvious plain sight. Bed lines were stained and dirty. Tub was not fit to stand in much less sit in. Refrigerator kept us awake all night making noise. Towels were hard , stained and terriable! Worst place I’ve stayed in ever !!!!

Roaches in the room. One was crawling on the bed. Poor lighting in the room. Only one light was working. Breakfast was cold and rubbery. One guest was bouncing a biscuit on the table.

Housekeeping walked right in the room in morning without knocking, a party was two rooms or so down that was way to loud and out of hand and the breakfast was frozen and or empty not many options laid out for it being a holiday weekend.
Room was off with private entrance and was clean.

Bathroom was filthy, there were multiple people having parties and being loud all night. There were stains on the chair that were gross.

The room was turned over too quick. Nothing was swept, wiped down. There were hand prints on the headboard, crumbled candy bars on the floor, long black hair stuck to the side of the shower wall, eyelash glue all over the floor and it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes! The breakfast was awful, and frozen eggs and sausage in a chafing dish, still had to be microwaved. The staff appeared clueless. When we booked the rooms, we assumed they would be together because we have children, they were not. What if we had little kids? So we just split up the adults to stay with the kids. Husband’s rooms door was kicked in at one point (previous to our stay) and would not seal properly. This was just a bad experience.
