Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt's in a loud area and the parking lot is very small.
Location was fine. Close to the melting pot and old town. We had to be downtown for an event, so it worked out.

United States of AmericaThe heater was noisy and made weird sounds, but I didn't care enough to tell them about it at the time. The bathroom walls needed some TLC. There was cracked painting and dark spots like mold was building. Didn't bother me much but it's not pretty. The rooms were very basic looking, not fancy. There were many sketchy people when you walked on the streets, but apparently this is normal in this downtown area and we didn't have any issues because we drove everywhere.
The location was pretty darn good, I'd say. I wouldn't walk alone but it is a short drive to everywhere. I liked that the rooms were only on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There wasn't much staff around but there was always someone where I needed them and they were always helpful. Breakfast was nice, served from 7 to 10! There was a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, orange and apple juice, oatmeal, fruits, and tea and coffee. No extra fee for parking and no hold/deposit for incidentals. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room which was nice.

United States of AmericaThe door was FILTHY on the inside of the room. For the cost I paid, I expected it to be cleaner. They had a pool but it was not heated and the lounge chairs available were so dirty
The location was nice other than the MANY homeless tents literally on the sidewalk. We didn't feel comfortable walking around being 2 women alone

United States of AmericaThey offer an in house room service that’s actually provided by an outside company. The company that provided “room service” wasn’t even actually room service. They didn’t deliver our food until over an hour and 2 phone calls later, the delivery guy showed up and called us to come outside, downstairs, in the rain to get our food. It was cold, soggy, and partially the wrong order. The company that provides/contracts the food was zero help and told me to call back the next day when a manager was available. The front desk(hotel) had nothing to do with it and could do nothing about the situation. The next day, I called back and spoke with a manager that stated he would refund me the amount I spent ($33 on chicken tenders and onion rings) in a gift card that would be sent to my email within 24 hours. It has been 5 days since then and I have received nothing. While the hotel was great and exactly what was detailed, the services that they promote and stamp their name on are garbage and definitely not worth your time or money. I will never order “room service” from a quality inn again.
Very clean, well kept. Nice staff.

United States of AmericaThe location not so much. Homeless by the driveways, made me feel unsafe at moments. Although the homeless did not come onto the property.

BelgiumThe breakfast was very monotone and not varied: every day waffles with only sugarry toppings (syrop, honey, whipped cream, jam, ..), the variety of fruit decreased each day (no bananas, even after asking two consective days), yoghurt with 20 grams (!) of sugar in it and all throw-away cutlery (carton plates, plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic and plastic cups). Some toast with cheese or some eggs would have been a nice and welcoming addition to the breakfast. The room was nice, but the AC was very loud.
The size of the room was nice and the proximity to the convention center was a real bonus. The room was clean when I arrived and was cleaned daily. Towels renewed, bed was made, ... The orange juice was good and so was the free water. I felt safe during the whole of my stay, considering I did everything on foot and arrived sometimes late at night. Worth the money, seeing the location and the accomodation in the room.

A good location to move about the city on foot distance-wise. However, the area seemed quite deserted even though it is clearly area of government and commercial offices.
