It is an older hotel, so there’s an “older” smell in the rooms. Rooms were mostly clean. That top bed cover had several dirty spots. The shower curtain needed to be cleaned, it was dirty. The window drapery is very old and had stains on it as well. The windows AC didn’t cool the room as well as we would have liked, but it was still comfortable.

I felt there could have been a full body pillow with the four pillows on the king-size bed. Otherwise, everything was great!!

The staff was friendly, accommodating when I needed assistance with something. The staff generally seemed to care about the quality of your stay as I sat back and eased dropped on their conversations towards each other. Lastly, the breakfast aera was clean and easily assembled.

The only way to improve the breakfast would be to have a chef cracking the eggs on the griddle. I enjoyed the quiet green space location with limited traffic and noise. The staff was considerate and went out of her way to be helpful. I like the sink separate from the toilet and shower making it more efficient for two people readying themselves for the day.

The a/c was very noisy. Breakfast was not very good. The sausage and scrambled eggs were too dry and close to inedible. They needed to have the cereal bins marked so people know what they are eating. The location is out of the way. Be prepared to use GPS to find this hotel.

There was food in our fridge when we arrived. The other room we had, had no toilet paper. The towels at the pool were pretty much hand towels. The elevator did not work. What I really did not like was there was no info in the room, so to find the vending machines, ice maker you had to call or go to the front desk. Also they had no local advertising we were hungry but did not know what was nearby to order.

The pool was nice, check in was easy, staff were nice, breakfast was decent.

It’s no longer a well lit property. It seemed really dark on the sides and back of property. I was well lit at the entry facing the highway. My husband and I used to come here and stay when there was a theater in walking distance. It felt safe to walk there. I’m not so sure now that the theater is not there.
