Wish the walkway went a little further or they made a small (two or three feet) footbridge over the stream on the way to the beach. There are logs over the muddy area but they can be very slippery for older folks.

I guess what I wrote above is what I didn't like- the separate tables for our gathering. As our group size depends on who is still alive and able to attend, health wise and other wise and that was explained with the reservation, I feel we could have had better accommodations.

The room was lovely- our planned event, an annual luncheon on May 2nd for the high school (Ocosta ) class of 1959 was not what we ordered- a separate room from the other dinners. We were at 2 sperate tables which made visiting among ourselves difficult. The food was exceptional

Parking lot side was very noisy. Could hear talking and car doors. Maybe put white noise for sleeping in the room. Check out is just a little early. Maybe noon would be better.

1. A light in the closet would be helpful when sorting thru clothes & suitcases. It's a bit dark in that area. 2. The shower door in rm 227 appeared to be hung incorrectly resulting in water coming out between the sliding doors & making a big, slippery mess on the bathroom floor. 3. A receptacle for recyclable trash (especially plastic!) would possibly reduce garbage cost & certainly be more environmentally friendly. I packed our empty plastic water bottles home with me for recycling.

It wasn't convenient for us to eat in the hotel this visit however we have enjoyed great food & service in the past. We appreciate the efficient, pleasant & helpful staff throughout the resort. A clean accommodation is of utmost importance to me & I have never been disappointed at the Quinault. Our room was quiet & we slept well! I am a light sleeper & very grumpy when I pay a considerable amount of money only to be kept awake by rude, inconsiderate guests, noisy toilets flushing, parking lot noises, etc. We did not experience these issues this visit or previously. Our room was clean, quiet & very comfy in the king size bed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your good care ;>)

During our stay, there was fire alarm testing, which I was not notified during my stay that it was going to happen. When my daughter and I were in the shower as it was going off. Getting to the door for the guy to tell me to leave it propped open it was a test was fine, but minutes later another guy Flys through the door while I'm getting dress so naked and my child rishing to put clothes on then he's like sorry then another miutlater opens and closes the door. If the first guy said just prop it and did what needed to be done, why did a second guy come in? I notified the front desk at check out she said she was very sorry and checked to see who checked us in which was the lady next to her and that lady said well they put flyers under the door. I never got a flyer at check it nor notified at check-in. I did not get a flyer under the door as well. My daughter wouldn't take a shower the next day cause she was terrified. So this all could have been prevented if the front desk handed flyers out at check-in and notified us. I was not okay with them flying through the door, seeing both me and my 2 year old daughter naked. The rest of the stay was good. The pool was amazing, and the room was great.

I’d like real feather pillows, an extra blanket and a shower cap. Very fancy showers- but you can’t keep your hair dry.

They have gone non-smoking and it is great. We don’t gamble (it’s a casino) but the location for an ocean-view room is the best around. Nicely remodeled rooms. The food at Emily’s was excellent!
