We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

I liked the overall style and aesthetic. They had halloween decorations in the front lobby that me and my girlfriend found cool.

United States of AmericaTowels were very stained. Couch in living area was stained in multiple areas and looked like someone had spilled on it recently and it was never cleaned. There was mold at the bottom of the shower curtain.
Staff was great and very friendly. The pool area was beautiful. The hotel makes you feel like you are on a vacation on an island almost.

United States of AmericaThe A/C or Swamp Cooling sucked. We were hot and in Winter it would be fine but at least they gave us a fan. The Pool was filled with unattened screaming kids. Great place for a preditor. The Soap and shampoo...BRING YOUR OWN...I have never seen such crapy tiny soap. We had to buy some in the gift store. Parking was tight too.
Nice big rooms, two TV's and resort look for the pool area.

United States of AmericaI’ve stayed here several times now and the first visit was great.. but then it started getting bad with each visit thereafter, so this was definitely the last time I stay here. My second to last visit, I made a reservation for a king bed and they claimed my reservation was canceled because I placed a debit card instead of a credit card. My last visit I made another reservation with a king bed, and specifically put down my credit card, and they still changed my bed type! I asked them, what is the point of making a reservation then? The receptionist just shrugged her shoulders. Upon getting to the room, I heard some noise and come to find that the glass door that leads out to the parking, didn’t fully close. There was about a 1-2 inch gap. I decided to ignore it and just spent the night. The next morning upon showering, I pulled one of the towels and it was completely stained, like it hadn’t been moved in months. This was the last straw.

Brittany was expedient, exceptional in her abilities to understood the needs of her guests and any situation presented to her. She sets a high bar for guest relations that all fellow employees should aspire to ascertain including management. Hotel is need of repairs and upgrades. Upon arrival I had to request a refrigerator and microwave. Received a 1980's dial number microwave. Really? Like I said owner is cheap, cheap, cheap. another guest upon arrival did not have a TV or telephone in his room to accommodate himself, wife & two children. Elevators kept breaking down. One was down for a whole week. Not good considering my wife is handicapped, can not use the stairs and is considered high risk for falls. She had to struggle to walk further to find a working elevator. We stayed there for more than a month only for the convenience of location. During that time it took 6 weeks for the owner to replace two windows in two separate rooms. Security was lax and when he was around he was making noise throwing the hose over the 2nd floor railing and washing down the walkways at 2am and 4 am in thd mornings Really?? Hello?? Guests are sleeping at that time. Furthermore the concrete walkway stays wet for 2-3 hours and poses a slip anc fall risk for those long term guest that have to go to work at 6am and 7am. Where's his common sense in that??? Previously the maintenance employee would was down the walkways at or around 11am which made sense as most guest had left for the orbalready checked out and the walkways would be dry from the heat of the day within a hour. There was also a shortage of clean towels on 3 occasions as a short staff struggled to keep up with laundry. Owner was constantly cutting and adjusting hours of employees. One of the employees quit due to not getting enough hours. Management was training employees to perform multi task duties outside there specific job description.
Breakfast was not available as cheap owner was still using Covid-19 protocol as reason/excuse as to not providing a light breakfast meal. The previous hotel I stayed at the week previously provided a daily light breakfast that even include Coffee & Tea. None of which ownership at Vanllee provided. Leaking bath tub facet. Broken lock on balcony sliding glass door. Replacement slide over latch on patio door did not work as it did not line up properly with hole in frame.

United States of Americathe staff, the front desk people not friendly. 4 days before my stay I called and ask about the pet friendly thing. the cs told me me it is ok. when we check in although I don’t have my dog. i ask the front desk about it. and she said whoever told me that, it wasn’t true they don’t allow dog. as we went to look for our room. we saw at least 4 guests had dog with them . and we heard a dog barking in the morning. She did not even acknowledged me when I came in. I was the first one who said hello since they are talking.
