Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australiawe booked an oceanview king room many months in advance. when we arrived they informed us that the only room left was a regular room at the back on a noisy street. there was a lot of noise/yelling/loud voices overnight and when I asked for a credit on our account in the morning as we didn't get the room we paid for, the receptionist told me they couldn't see what we paid for because it was BDC and we couldn't get a refund of the difference.

United States of AmericaScary, poorly maintained, door scratches from dog being contained in the room, no tv remote. Door exiting to outside had no lock on room side to ensure dead bolt was secured. Very sketchy location, homeless tent city nearby.

CanadaWindow didn’t latch, but was on 3rd floor. Staff / shuttle driver snoring in back in AM. No bell on desk. Only 3 blocks to train so I walked.
About 4 blocks from edge of downtown shopping. Wide open so felt safe walking in light. Popcorn in lobby. Nice bed and shower. Looks older, nervous when walked up to it but turned out ok. No bad smell at all, like some old places. Newer fixtures in room but could use paint. If you are “particular” will findproblems, but for me good cheaper 1 night stay.

United States of AmericaRoom was not as described. I booked my room under the assumption that the room had a 2 person jetted tub in the living area. However the room I received only had 1 person jetted tub in the bathroom. While I understand that pictures are reused, having such a discernible difference is unsatisfactory. The continental breakfast was lackluster at best. Items are placed and once out are not replenished. In fact the first morning, they ran out of milk and didn’t have anymore milk to replace it. In some parts of the building the floor is heaved up and creates lips on the floor that could present a tripping hazard.
Rooms were clean and well stocked. Building has secured access, so if you don’t have a reservation you can’t get in. You do have to stand at the door to be let in initially as you don’t have you card yet.

United States of AmericaThe staff were rude!!! The manager, she was really rude and not helpful to my problems. Was charger three to four times in one day for the deposit and room rate, and they couldn't explain why? When I asked to talk to the manager she came out with an attitude and didn't want to explain why I was charged a higher rate when I booked it online and at a discounted price. Said it was my job to inform them. Come on now, that's silly. Customer service is not there thing! Keep track of what they charge u and how many times!!!!!
Nothing really. The pillows were soft!!!

United States of AmericaIt’s an older property and it reflects it. I wish the corporation, who owns it, would take a little more pride in it. The biggest issue for us was the ventilating system that was incessant throughout the night.
The location was easy to find, and getting to the airport the next morning was direct and quick. The bathroom was spacious and clean.

QatarStaff was very rude. When the heater was not working, she said how to do it even though it was very difficult to do it by engineer and she said to me to fix it by myself when there was no engineer at night. She also did not even come to the room to check the heater by saying that she cannot leave the reception and enter to the guest's room. The heater they provided had always error after having a few hours and without the heater, room temperature was very freezing and at that time, the staff was not alone and she was together with another female staff. You also have to pay for deposit and you cannot pay by cash. Only card is acceptable so if you do not have card or do not have enough credit, it will be very difficult to stay in this hotel. Every time, hotel staff changes so if there is any issue, if there is no staff around that you spoke, you have to tell again and most probably, the new one will not understand what is happening exactly so it is much better to solve all problem when the staff who knows you from the beginning is there.

United States of AmericaThe smell of cleaning fluids in the hallway and room was strong and overpowering. The rooms front door was jammed tight and took a shove to open and close. The shower control knob is broken and impossible to control, with scalding water coming out if you giggle it the wrong way. Old single pane windows with no screens are very hard to open and close, so the noisy trains at all hours will wake you a lot.
Bed was nice. The towels were great. I liked the bedside light. Close to downtown.
