Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHeard the back door open and close loudly and frequently since the room was right next to the exit. There were not enough plug-ins for in-room and personal devices. I had to unplug and re-plug various electrical items and personal devices when wanting to use them. I recommend installing power adaptors. The in-room coffee Ramada uses is horrible but the breakfast one was fine.
The location was good, a short drive to downtown. The staff was kind and courteous. The breakfast was filling. The room was clean and comfortable and looks like it had been refurbished within the past few years.

United States of AmericaThe area is very sketchy, the breakfast was only pastries and waffles, the keurig machine in the room was moldy, and the carpet was dated and dirty.
The king suite room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the hotel is pet friendly. We were passing through so it fit our purpose.

United States of AmericaBreakfast could have been better with more varieties. There was no eggs and no type of meat. They only had one option of bread no English muffins or wheat bread. No Decaffeinated coffee. But other than that Breakfast was okay.
The breakfast was okay, walffels were good.

United States of AmericaI did an online early check-in but had to go through the exact same steps when I arrived at the hotel... what was the point of photographing my ID and paying the 100 dollar deposit (I paid that twice) if I have to do it all again when I try to get my room key?? As a female alone during check-in, I was super sketched out when the front desk person said my room number, last name, and last 4 of my social in front of several other guests checking in.... I hoped to avoid that with the online check-in the day before!
Very private across the board. Very little interaction aside from check-in with staff and other guests.

SlovakiaThe stench in the lobby and corridors was still noticeable but not as strong as on the first night.
The room was spacious and clean. We decided to stay for the third night as we wanted to spend more time in Santa Fe and Taos. Breakfast was adequate. The young male receptionist in the mornings was polite and helpful. The reception had lots of maps and leaflets of the area.

SlovakiaThe most horrible stench in the main lobby and corridors. Maintenance should address it. Some inconsiderate guests spoke/shouted loudly for hours after midnight.
The room was spacious and clean.

CanadaThe traffic noise from the street but it is on a busy, main street so to be expected. We did not stay for the breakfast. There weren't a lot of options and there was nothing that appealed to us.
We had a king suite and the room was spacious. There was a chair, sofa and ottoman in addition to the king size bed. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The front desk staff were very accommodating in making sure we had what we needed. There was a smart TV in the room that needs to come with a warning (Not to be used by dumb people who don't know how to work a smart TV). The price of the room definitely made up for any shortcomings we may have experienced. You get what you pay for. In the case we got more than we expected so that's a win for us.
