The bedding did not look like it had been washed, the bathroom tiles, floor and walls were dirty.

The hotel was close to town but not as close to park and walk from the hotel.

The room wasn't cleaned or garbage taken out in the three nights we stayed there. We were provided three very small towels, which weren't replaced and it wasn't enough when one considers pool use as well. The bathtub didn't have a stopper and the main door didn't have a security lock bar. The continental breakfast was adequate but could have benefited from adding some fruit or another healthy option. It didn't bother me but another visitor mentioned there wasn't a hair dryer, and the in-room coffee wasn't replaced after the first day.

The hotel was close to the main strip in town but far enough away that it felt quiet and peaceful. The room was a standard hotel room, no frills, but adequate to our needs. The main reasons we chose the hotel was the price was significantly cheaper than others in the area and they had an indoor pool and hot tub that I and my son enjoyed nightly. The staff were friendly and let us know about local activities.

The reception was EXTREMELY RUDE! We arrived at 3:05. The reservation said that check in was 3 PM. The attendant was on his cell phone and said the check in was 4 PM. I then tried to show him the reservation saying it was 3 PM and he said "I don't care what the paper says, it is 4 PM" and he said it with an attitude and very rude. He could have said, "I am sorry but we have a problem (or whatever) Can you come back at 4 PM? " But he did not. he was just rude! The ironic thing is that the actual receipt I got when I paid said the check in is 3 PM. See the attached pictures. In addition, they gave us 3 rooms adjacent to each other as requested. But one of the rooms had a wet carpet because of a pipe burst next door. So they transferred the occupants to a different floor and half way down the building. In that room, the TV did not work and we had to call in and someone came and fixed it. In addition, the room I occupied had no power when we got there and I had to call and report it. Finally, the room itself was clean but the building shows its age. The bathtub several had rust spot showing and the banister on the stairs leading to the second floor was broken, rusted out, before getting to the concrete.

The location is nice. It is about two miles from downtown Helen. Therefore, we only had to deal with the traffic in Helen if we went that way.

The facility was outdated, and in need of repair. The hot tub was so full of bleach it literally bleached our clothes. There was not enough room for everyone that wanted to get breakfast or to sit. And when we were down at times, there was not much left.

The location was just outside the main square, so it was easier to access during peak traffic time. Walking to the square though was not easy. The staff was very kind and courteous.

Not flexible for an early check in. We drove 8 hours and couldn't get in an hour and a half early because there's "dust on the floor." Rooms are decent. Cleaning needs to be better. There were long hairs left in the shower so no one bothered to clean the showers. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Gross. Buy a new curtain. They aren't that expensive.

The people next door kept us up until 4 in the morning partying at our door, i finally opened the door and let them know we were trying to sleep ,that didnt help... That was the only problem we had , very nice place to stay , ...
