Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt was just a little dated and old. But I would not say that bothered me much. I like supporting smaller Mom and Pops places. I did not expect the accommodations to be as updated =, like when you stay at a national chain Hotel.
Mike was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a tire blow out yearly in the day. When I called to tell him we would be getting in late, he stayed up to greet us to make sure everything was ok. True customer service at it's best!

United States of AmericaNo complaints.
The bed was extremely comfortable. Water pressure in shower was good and the water was nice and hot. Plenty of room to park SUV w/ trailer. Clean & priced affordability. You know what you are getting when you make the reservation- older hotel, no frills, western themed.

CanadaWe have nothing bad to say about this place.
The proprietor was amiable and efficient. Our room was a good size, with table/chairs, plus a couch/coffee table area. The bed was comfortable, and the room showed evidence of regular maintenance. Complimentary coffee and water in the lobby in the morning.

United States of AmericaThe shower was very short for my 6’1” partner, but manageable. The door to the room felt rather loose and could move back and forth more than I would expect while locked (was still secure enough for our 1-night stay).
The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the unique character of the place. Clean room, good water pressure, convenient access to gas/groceries/highway, decent WiFi, and no-fuss check-in/check-out. Perfect for what we needed for our stopover during a road trip.

United States of AmericaI could not get the heater to work properly, good thing it was unseasonably warm. An extra blanket or comforter would have been nice. The lighting in the room was terrible and i could not tell if the carpet was clean or not because it was old and stained. In addition to that the walls were painted brown. Not a pleasant atmosphere.
The location was easy to get in and out of. The man at the front desk was very nice, and came to the room to show me how to work the tv. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable.

United States of AmericaView from the room was the railroad yard. It was really interesting to watch however. There were three tracks and trains were moving both ways on them and they were really long trains. Windows looked like they could open, but the noise would have been noticeable. No breakfast and minimum choices nearby. Would not recommend for a multiple night stay.
The location worked well for a one night stop along I-80. Interesting driftwood sculptures outside. Price was lower than average because it IS an older motel. If you want newer, then expect to pay 50% more for your room. Beds were comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe rooms themselves left much to be desired. Not only is it an outdated building, but the upkeep and cleanliness is lacking. Missing baseboards, completely unrenovated bathrooms, dirt on the walls and carpet, etc.
I liked the Western lobby vibes and decor and wish it was further executed throughout the rest of the property (rooms, bathrooms, hallways). I also appreciated the low cost and easy access from the highway.

No breakfast, but coffee and granola bars were there to take with you. The gentleman who checked us in and out was thoughtful and helpful at all times and made sure we were well provided for. The western art collection gave the lodge lots of character.

United States of AmericaYou know what you are getting when you stay here so you can't really complain.
You are getting a very old, outdated motel room with carpets that must be 30 years old for about the cheapest price you can find in Rawlins. That said, it's my second stay here so it's my go-to place in town. I wouldn't bring my wife here, but I don't mind that everything's old. It's like a vintage place we would have stayed at as kids in the 70's, complete with the sign out front advertising "RCA color TV." The AC and wifi work well, the beds are comfortable enough, and you get a hot shower. I sleep well here and it's very convenient as a traveler. I wish it was about $20 cheaper, but everything is inflated now.

United States of AmericaThe building exterior is really run down and is located amidst an abandoned commercial area with run down/empty buildings and discarded motor vehicles, refrigerators, etc. Train runs behind it. We were concerned about parking car behind building. The rooms were very clean but still carpet questionable and the bathroom tub was very worn/stained and the vinyl flooring coming apart at seams. Ceiling above shower had a huge leak. Heard the people upstairs well into the night, no escaping loud footsteps. The building is really run down. Reception could be more welcoming/friendly.
The furniture is newish/nice, cozy and the rooms are very clean. Comfortable bed. Good A/C. Has a cozy feel inside with western decor vibe. Coffee is good.
