Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI forgot shampoo. They had two small packets in the room and since they never came in to even empty the trash, it wasn’t replaced when used. There were no soap dishes.

United States of AmericaI saw people writing like "you get what you pay for at this place". Do people really think that more than a $100 a night (at this place) is considered cheap in any part of the world and, thus, can have some bad quality facilities? We should not strive for the image of "more cost = more quality", instead, we should force hotels to be more affordable and provide better value. Among others, there are some of the drawbacks such as: -No cafe, no place to cook meals if needed -VERY noticeable bad smell of toilet in the hall. Less noticeable in the room -Tea and coffee taken away after at noon from the hall for some reason -Glitching door card reader -The location, though in Arlington, but requires some walking to the transit.
I booked this for a senior family member. -Fair location -Value, affordability for that city -Refrigerator and microwave in the room -Good reception personnel -There is a wall fan in the room apart from AC -Almost everything necessary for a good stay inside, regular cleaning -Ability to book without paying, easy cancellations and schedule changes

New ZealandHad a lot of trouble connecting to the wifi, this took 3 or 4 days to resolve and was a network provider issue it seems. Be aware there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room and that there is no food available on site (and that you need to BYO cutlery etc if you don't always want to be eating out). It also took quite a long time to commute to my meeting in Crystal City so factor that in if on a work trip.
Decent hotel on the cheaper side for DC. Close(ish) to the metro which opens up the city. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, although the air con was needed 24/7 to keep the room comfortable. Free coffee in the morning.

GuamThe place could use a renovation to bring things up to date. But then the price would not be as reasonable.
This is my third stay at the hotel. Twice preCovid and now. The facility is still the same. The location is excellent and parking is free. The room and facilities are very dated (80’s?) but at least the spaces were maintained, clean and satisfactory.

GermanyThe building, facilities and furniture are looking a bit dated, and the security didn't feel so strong - the parking building is open to any as is the entrance to the building from the underground parking. There was loud raucous shouting coming from the room next door at midnight. The wifi was an unsecured network and did not work for most websites. Quite a high price compared to similar properties in the area, although the free parking was an excellent perk.
Walking distance of Rosslyn metro with free parking - not many places can boast this!

United States of AmericaBackground noise coming through bathroom walls. Had to keep bathroom door closed to sleep. Exceptions to cleaning of room (i.e, suspension of making up room) unclear on form. It was combined with pet fee and i read It together and assumed it only applied when pet was present. I stayed 3 days and my room wasn’t cleaned during my stay.

United States of AmericaThey have suspended housekeeping services. You can only get housekeeping if you stay four nights or more. However, the front desk has clean towels, etc. The walk to any restaurants or the metro is uphill, so not great unless you are younger.
There was ample free parking in their garage with elevator directly to the floors. The king bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot. So close to Arlington Cemetery and the Iwo Jim Memorial.

United States of AmericaThere are no real facilities walking distance for me for breakfast lunch or dinner. Coffee in the lobby until 10:00 a.m. but that's it. There was some old dried up blood and one of my pillows, so obviously the laundry didn't pick up on that but should have when they put the pillow case on my pillow. We had no service on the 4 days we were there. I didn't expect sheet changes etc but they should have checked for towels and a garbage cans were full. I was in a motorized wheelchair the facilities worked fine for me the handicap entrance as a ramp with a pretty tight turn but I managed. My fault my watch was still on several time zone and they were pretty angry at me for not checking out at 11:00, but we got out at 12:00 no problem. I would stay there again only because it's affordable, but I need access for food.
The location for what I wanted to see was very good.
