The room was what I'd call "tatty." Ceiling panels were discolored and shedding. Not much soundproofing and absolutely NO amenities.

No coffee pot in room. Not enough shampoo for two

I paid more for this room than I normally pay at Holiday Inn. Room small, not super clean, bathroom tub needed caulked, tub stopper didn't work. Toilet stained and didn't look clean.

Air conditioner made noise making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Location was convenient. Not much availability in Ashville for last minute reservations. Front desk person very nice and helpful.

The room we stayed in didn't feel as good as the other one's we've stayed in before! For example... bed felt like sleeping on the floor! I personally like more firm beds! It was suppose to be a non smoking room! When we opened the door... you could smell were someone had smoked previously! We don't smoke at all! A non smoker can tell if a room has been smoked in or not! Other than this... We've never had a bad experience! Staff has always made us feel welcomed! We are not the type to complain unless you ask for it! Theirs always things that can be improved! We will definitely be back!

Location is great! Many restaurants in the area! You don't have to travel far for food at all unless you just want too! We have & always will chose Red Roof Inn unless completely booked!

Sometimes a little noisy from other customers, but that has nothing to do with the facility. Lighting could have been better in the parking lot.

We really only stay at Red Roof because of our little Schnauzer. She can stay free!! That is a huge bonus for us!! The room didn't include coffee or a continental breakfast but it was comfortable.

Clerk had her family hanging out in the lobby and all were in their pajamas with food all over the place. It was very dark outside. Felt very uncomfortable out side the room. The bed had to be ancient. Made awful noises when you turned.

Next door to Cracker Barrell. Quiet. No noise from other rooms.

Price considered, Red Roof Inn Asheville West is a nice motel to stay at. The location is fair — not downtown where lots of action occurs, but not too far away for a drive there. I like that gas stations are located nearby and the interstate highway is not far for those just passing through. I always worry about the cleanliness of the places I stay. The beds were clean. This motel was well kept and the room was updated with quality floors and a semi-modern feel. Scott at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our comfort was his priority. I cannot say enough positive things about him.

Beds were full size and a bit small for 2 people. Beds weren’t that comfortable . There was one arm chair in the room but it wasn’t very comfortable. The building was a bit run down but it was a clean , reasonably priced place to stay

Sheets on bed were dirty. A couple towels were dirty. The trash outside near the stairs was never picked up so the trash can was overflowing and the smell was awful. The smell from the trash can overflowed into our room.

For the price it wasn’t a bad hotel. It was located in a pretty good spot, a short drive to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good hotel just to sleep and get back on the road.

The room smelled awful. Other guest not cleaning up after their dogs. Being charged the same price for a down graded room from my reservation because the hotel over booked.

The location is wonderful. The price is reasonable. The bed was comfortable.
